Rosé P.O.V.
'oh my gosh i'm starving, i'm gladly they're already serving food'
"girls, do you smell it? it smells so good, i hope it's delicious too"
"Rosé of course it's delicious, if it smells good, it tastes good"
"you're so wise Jisoo unnie" lisa praise her eldest friend
"lisa don't make fun of Jichu"
"or what, Ruby Jane?" Lisa replies, earning a eye roll from Jennie.
'i really love my members, they never stop to entertain me..oh wait' I notice someone standing besides our table and notice she is standing there, her Y/c/eyes wide open staring at the four of us, her face red..'did she actually recognised us even with our masks on?' we all look at her and since she seems stuck I ask her if she's okay, making her face getting more red. After a moment of hesitation she tries to speak but she stutters a little and she even tries to introduce herselg in korean "i'm s-sorry, h-hi, a-a-nnyeonghaseyo, y/n-ya" me and my members all aww to her cute attempt and she immediately start ranting, ending with a much awaited "anywayyyyyyy, umh, food?"which we eagerly welcome in our plates 'yes food food food, roseanne, try not to dance too much for the food' and we immediately dive in 'so. freaking. good.'
JISOO P.O.V.
I look up from my plate and I see y/n talking to her collegue and a man, who doesn't seem really happy "girls" I say to my friends, making them look at me "what do you guys think happened? look over there" they all turn their faces towards the entrance and while we are trying to understd what's going on we see y/n walk out of the room 'damn, that doesn't look good' "what do you think was that about? she looked upset"
"yeah unnie, i wonder why she left like that" jennie sighs
"maybe we could ask her collegue"
"no lisa, we should mind our own business, we could even make thing worse. from what we know it might be even out fault" Rosé says sadly and I caress her hand that is resting on the table
"i don't think so, i'm gonna ask her, not the man"
I zone out and i turn my head to look out the window, when i see her out there. I decide to get up and get right in front of the open window, hoping she looks up, and she does. As soon as she notices me i try to mouth her in English "you okay?", hoping she understands. 'an okay sign and a small smile, well, i guess she is okay than, i mean yeah she's good'
"is she there?" Jennie asks me and I just nod to her. Before I know it they are besides me at the window but she isn't looking at us now, she's playing with a cute litlle dog, or trying at least, making the four of us giggle a little. we see her going towards the building, meaning towards us, so we wave at her but with no answer. at that point we decide to seat back down and start scrolling through our phones.
Lisa P.O.V.
'ok but why didn't she wave at us? we were trying to be kind and supportive, did we do something wrong? maybe it is really our fault she had to leave.' i unconsciously start pouting because Rosé asks me
"lisa what is going? what got you all pouty?"
"well, she didn't wave at us, what if she's mad cause it's our fault she had to leave? and what if we messed with her job? i mean, we don't know her but i would still feel guilty if she lost her job because of us."
"lili don't worry, i bet it's nothing that serious. let's ask her collegue so you'll be reassured, 'kay?" I simply nod, appreciating Jennie's caring side.
"excuse me?" y/n collegue approaches our table
"is y/n ok? she'll be back?" I see her struggling to understand Jennie's simple words, but in the end she answers with a smile
"Yes, she okay, in 5 minutes"
"thank you" Jennie replies while the waitress walks away. 'okay if she's gonna be back then it means she is not getting fired, good. i can relax then'
Our lunch went on, and a few minutes later Jennie and Jisoo, since they are the one facing the door, announce to me and Chaeng that y/n was back so we immediately snap our heads towards the door and we immediately call her over.
As soon as she comes to us we all ask about what had happened, but i'm worried she's mad at us, that's why I wanna know why she didn't wave back at us, and I knew before I asked that my members would have scolded me but i just don't care, i don't want anyone to be mad at me. As expected they try to shut me up but y/n finally answers me "i didn't wave cause honestly, i didn't notice th-that, i'm really so-sorry" . 'oh.. she sounds sincere, so maybe i didn't do anything wrong and she isn't mad, good' I go quiet until we officially introduce to her, everyone in our own ways, it's not because we have some public characters, but because we are like this, that's why i, being the extra that i am, goes with a super swag "lalisa in the house! i'm lisa!" 'she blushed..? so cuuuute' After we all introduce ourserlves she has to go back to work but eventually comes back with more food and before she can leave tells Rosé to ask her something.. and after Jennie politely asks her "when you end your shift would you mind recommend us places to visit? if it's not too much trouble, of course" i can't help myself and i tell y/n "or YOU could just show US around!"
My friends shout at me and i can see y/n almost panicking 'did i mess up for real now? oh no no no'. The other three start scolding me again, and ireply them "yes i know i said it out of the blue and now she'll probably won't even tell us what to see, but it was worth trying. and we all wanted to propose that so don't bother me".
We were so focused on discussing that we didn't even notice that y/n had left our table, probably because she was embarassed and she didn't understand what we were saying...thanfully. And now she is laughing with her collegue 'what if they're making fun of us?' at the sound of the laughter the four of us turn around, trying to read the scene and a few moments later y/n is walking towards our table again.
