"I can't deny I'm both excited and nervous for tonight's dinner. Mostly I'm nervous though. What if in the end y/n is actually mad at me? I really should have shut up."
"hey jis, did y/n tell you what time she'll be coming over tonight?"
"no lis, she should come by a little earlier than yesterday tho... you should relax, it's gonna be alright"
"ok..I can..no I can't.. hey Jennie! could you please cook something special tonight? i hope she stays over for dinner and I want her to eat something amazing, please please please"
"Sure Lili, breathe.. do you wanna come with me to buy some groceries? that might help you relax a bit" Jennie offers me and i gladly accept
"jis? rosie? you girls coming too?" i ask them
"no you two should go ahead, we will chill here" jisoo replies "chaeng is also half asleep so i think she wants to get some sleep"
"yep, jisoo unnie is right" rosè mumbles from the couch.
Jennie was right, going with her to buy groceries helps me relaxing.. we got all our ingredients and also bought a lot of ice cream for tonight.
We get home and we find both jisoo and rosé asleep on the couch, they must have fallen asleep while watching a movie cause the credits are rolling down on the tv screen. I decide to help Jennie cook whatever she is going to cook, I trust her cooking skills, I know she's gonna make something exquisite. We're almost done cooking when I hear our phones getting a notification, and i immediately know it's y/n.. she is saying she is coming over now and of course, she is offering to bring something if we need it, I reply to her that we're good and just to let us know when she's here without knocking so she doesn't wake up jisoo and rosé.
"oh gosh Jennie, she's already here! should I open the door or is it better if you do it? jen? what do you think?" i ask her panicking
"you should get a glass of water, I'll get the door. chill." she chuckles while going to the door
"hey y/n, so good to see you.. come in.. how was your day?" i hear jennie asking her
"hey jen! it was alright, i couldn't wait to get off work" i hear y/n chuckle lowly "how was your day? what did you girls do? i see jisoo and rosé are still asleep.. where's lis?"
"We just hang out and then lisa and i went to buy some groceries and then we cooked dinner.. she's actually in the kitchen keeping an eye on it, which is why we should go there to check up on her, she might be setting off a fire anytime now" i hear jen joke "she will never let this go omg"
"hey lis, good evening! no fire, yet?" as soon as y/n enters the kitchen she greets me jokingly
"hello" i reply shyly "it was ONE TIME. ONE. i'm not a complete lost cause in the kitchen, okay??" i say whining
"it's okay lili, i got it covered.. you two get out of the kitchen now" jennie tells us in a sweet tone and i can't help but get nervous again, but i nod and flash a small smile to y/n and we both head toward the living room
"lisa.. is there a place where we can talk where we won't wake up those two?" y/n asks me as soon as we enter the living room..my mind goes wild cause i don't know whether to take her on the balcony or in one of our bedrooms
"mmh.." i look around "does the bedroom sounds okay to you? or maybe the balcony?" i'm so close to stuttering
"your bedroom is fine if you don't feel uncomfortable about it" she softly replies and i nod energetically, leading the way
