chapter 2'Why..'

{Your Pov}

During school the girls;Mina,Ochaco,Jiro,and Hagakure, invited me to go to the mall. I said yes of course,right now I'm at home getting dressed in f/c tank top,black tights, backwards plain black hat,and f/c vans. In my choice I looked fairly good,so I just went with it.

*Knock**knock*,I hear. "Yes,ma'am?"I yell to the door. My mom walks in and sits on my bed,"what's wrong m-""I wanted to give you something" she says in a quiet tone. She gets up,walks behind me,then puts a necklace around my neck. I look at the charm and it's a heart locket with a picture of me and her in it. I start tearing up,"it's beautiful,thank you" I say.

I turn around and hug my mom,she hugs back and strokes my hair. We pull away,"I love you,mom""I love you too my little monkey",I giggle and kiss her cheek,tell her I love her once again,then walk out the house to the 5 flights of stairs.

~time skip to the mall~

I see the girls waiting by the entrance and I decided to surprise them.I walk up behind mina and yell,she jumped like ten feet!. Me and the other girls besides mina start laughing"Hey!,it wasn't that funny!""S-sorry mina~""it's fine"she says with a pouty face.

We walk in, the girls decide that we split up. Me and Jiro,while Mina, Ochaco and Hagakure go together.
The first store we went to was,of course,the music store.

"Hey y/n?""yes?""I've never heard you play an instrument,can you play one for me?"um,..sure",I go over to the electric guitar,and plug it in."I usually play it when I feel a certain way,it when I'm bored.",I decide to play"like that" by dojo cat.(srry had to atleast put a video)



By the time I was done a crowd was around me and Jiro, everyone soon started clapping and cheering. I soon found out that the boys where at the mall (@_@). They where in the crowd clapping as well.I blushed, grabbed Jiro's hand and walked out."haha! What's wrong!"she said,"the boys are here!!""wait-"

"Yo y/n!" Kaminari interupted,"y-yes?""that was rad!"he said with rock hands,"thanks,but,me and Jiro are about to go to hot topic.,bye!","oh,ok. See ya!",with that me and Jiro begin walking towards hot topic.

When me and Jiro get to hot topic,I see these video game earrings,



I think they look cute,and also the fact it represents my love for video games. I tell Jiro I'll get these also including some Nirvana and yungblud t-shirts,she gets a couple band shirts of her own. We also get matching guitar bracelets.

We exit the store and meet up with the girls,then head out. I tell the girls bye,and begin walking towards my apartment.

As time goes by I look up to the beautiful scenery,only to see thick black smoke coming the direction of my house. I start sprinting my fullest,I Soon reach the apartment complexes,my legs burning. What I see shattered my heart.

My apartment is on fire.

I drop my belongings on the ground and run up the stairs to my complex. I reach for the handle to open the door, I wince at the pain,the handle burned my hand. I shove the pain in the back of my head and just worry about my mom.

I reach for the handle and push the door open. Black smoke fills my vision, I run,searching for any sign of my mom. The smoke is starting to burn my lungs. I couph as it's getting harder to breath.

I soon find my mom's body laying on the floor passed out. I run to her and put her arm around my shoulder, lifting her up and trying my best to get to the door.'where are the hero's!?'

The hero's should be here by now!?,I finally made it out the door I set my mom against the wall, everyone in the complex was leaving so I told a person to carry her down,they did as told.

I went back in to get my black pet rabbit lucifer. I started to search around,but it was so hard because of the smoke. It also doesn't help that he was black. I soon found him,I struggled to open his cage,I started losing consciousness and soon blacked out.

I woke up in the hospital,I looked around,my rabbit on my chest and remember what happened.
I quickly got up,but soon grabbed my head and groaned. "Whoa there,take it easy!" Someone said,I looked over to see who it was. It was just a plain doctor,"w-where's my mom!" I yell,"please be quiet,there are other patients here"he said soothingly,"No!,where is my mom!" I demand,"she's in the other room, sweetheart."he said,"what room.""279",he said,"Hey someone's calling you." I said,he walked out looking for whomever called his name.

I quickly stood up, almost falling down. I unhooked all the cords on my skin. I stood up and stumbled/ran to room '279'.276,277,278 ah! 279!. I go into the room and to the bed. I look at my mom and tear up,she has burn marks all over her,the cords connected to her skin,and she has a breathing mask.

"S-she might not make it..."a doctor says,"W-What...?",fast beeping is heard behind me,I look andy mom's heart monitor is going crazy."W-WAIT NO!" I yell,"young lady,please get out!"she yells,"NOO!",I yell,she calls the guard's. The guard's pull me out the room,mina is there all of a sudden and hugs me. I try and get out of her grip but she grips even tighter. I soon give in and start crying in her arms.

Two hours later,the doctor comes out of the room with a sad face,"W-What?"I ask quietly."i- I'm sorry for your loss"
