any better i would've thought
you were trying to bust down
the door, " chase snarked,
rolling his eyes.

"bold of you to assume

just that." charli sat down at
the dining room table with
dixie and addison trailing
behind her as she set down
a thick notebook harshly.

"what the fuck is that?"
he couldn't help but blurt
out at the sight of the colorful
book. ",looks like a kindergartner
threw up on it."

"this, my sweet child.. is
much more than a book
— this has every
plan i've thought up to get
you and noen back together."

"ahem.." dixie cleared her
throat in an attempt to correct
charli.

"okay so maybe dixie and
addi worked on it a little,
but personally i take all
the credit for the cover."
she showed off the front
of the hardback, which had
rainbows in every space
possible.

gay?" he asked.

"well if i have the ability

make it gay. duh!" charli
stated as if it were the most
obvious thing ever,
which it was, knowing her.

"right.. listen, i appreciate
what you guys are trying to
do here but—"

"come on chase! you guys
are practically soulmates

that go to waste just because
you say so." charli argued.

"dix, addi what do you guys think
—oh come on get a room!"
she groaned in annoyance at
the two kissing roughly off to the
corner.

"pfft, good luck trying to
get them to help." he snickered.

"they've been like this for the
past few months, and they swear
they're just friends.." charli glared
back at them.

"yeah those are some really
good friends." he laughed.

"anyways, promise me you'll
talk to noen." charli asked,
though it felt more like a
statement.

"chase. promise me."

"i can promise i'll think
about it." he finally said,
making charli's face light up.

"great. now, do you think
if we leave they'll notice?"
charli said quietly referring
to the two girls making out.

"oh please, a car could
crash in the living room
and they wouldn't even
care."
