eventually the car took a stop at a surprisingly empty park. chase got out to look at the beautiful surrounding, there was green plains all over, and flowers were sporadically placed around.
"um, i know i'm really mean and stuff but please don't kill me here" chase said, referring to the lack of people in the park.
"relax dipshit i wouldn't kill you. at least not here.."
"what?"
"nothing! anyway there's a reason i brought your dumbass here."
"yeah well maybe if you didn't call me all those names i'd know already."
"first of all.. i either call you names, or cry and face my feelings so that's a no right there. oh and give me your phone"
"what? i'm not gonna give you my—"
"chase?" a painfully familiar voice said, charli taking his phone as chase turned to register the voice.
"did charli send you here too?" noen said, she simply smiled and slowly backed away from their view before they could tell her anything.
"pretty much."
do it already please, i am not looking forward to hearing about this for the next week. she thought in the distance.
"s-so um."
"so like, i love you." chase said before noen could say anything, "sorry i just needed to say it, probably could've been more romantic though.."
"you're so dumb." noen laughed, "i-i love you too."
"no like, i LOVE love you."
"prove it." and as soon as those words left noens mouth chase did what they've both wanted for a long time— he leaned in and attached their lips softly. this time was different though, it was careful, and they weren't in a rush either. and from the way their hearts fluttered, it almost felt like their first kiss.
"s-so.." chase stuttered, they both had tears of happiness streaming down their faces now, "do you believe me now?" to which noen laughed.
the two were stuck in a state of euphoria, they didn't care about the world around them when they had the world right in front of each other.
"of course." noen sniffled with a huge grin on his face. "but, why me?"
"what are you talking about?"
"it's just— you could have anyone you want. seriously look at yourself, so why me?"
chase took noen's hands in his own, "because, you're the one that i want... always been and always will. is that so hard to believe?" he said removing his hands from noen's as he cupped his face up.
"well," he shut noen up with a light kiss, "o-oh i guess we're doing that now."
"you like it?"
noen nodded. "yeah. a lot."

the two laughed at each other hysterically as they read through the comments. there was something so satisfying about finally having the person you've wanted for so long. because everything feels better knowing they'll be by your side for everything— no matter what.
