The trip back home became silent after her outburst. The whole time she couldn't stop thinking about Jason, her protector, her best friend. Every mission she went on with him, she remembers vividly. All the way up to the end. She wonders what he would say to her know if they both made it out. Maybe the same thing she heard in the recording. Just, she would feel happy. Even after seeing the rest of her team die, seeing Jason again would pull into a better state. At least she hopes.
Soon, she would land back onto the base and almost immediately she sees General Edwards waiting for her, seeming pretty mad. She's never seen him angry before, but at this point she didn't care. She didn't care about much anymore. She would open the back of the Pelican and immediately the general walks on board "Do you know what you've could've done?! You could've died! They could've followed you! Well, were you foll-" He would cut himself off before noticing the helmet she's holding, making him widen his eyes "Oh I uhhh... I see what... what happened. We'll talk later okay? You go home and rest up."
Alison would only respond with a head nod before walking back to her Spade and getting in and driving back to her house. As she approaches, she would notice Jewel outside her house, knocking on the door. Alison would roll her eyes as she parks in the driveway, not wanting to deal with her nonsense right now. As she exited the spade, Jewel would walk up to her
"Yo! Where were you?! I had to fix this whole damn communicator myself?!" She yells while balling her fists up, seeming to be pretty hotheaded "I had to deal with some personal business." Alison days in a low tone, making Jewel scoff at her "Personal business?! What about our business! It took me three fucking hours to bring it back online! What were you even doing?!" She yells before getting pushed out the way by Alison "Suck it up, Jewel. I had to deal with more important shit than that. Sorry you had to do all the work yourself for once." She says as she walks to her door and opens it. The comment really pissed off Jewel, making her grab Alison by the shoulder from behind "What the hell did you just say about me?! I'm a way better-" Alison would cut herself off, by quickly hitting her arm away, starting to shake "D-Don't... touch me!" She yells, making Jewel slowly back up as Alison slams the door on her face
She couldn't take being touched anymore, especially from behind. It would always trigger moments when she was around the elites, then she couldn't get the thoughts out of her head. At least for a while. But she tried not to have Jewel, of all people, put her in that state. She hated her. Jewel would always want Alison with her on the small missions just so she didn't have to do all the work. Jewel was very much less experienced than Alison and it showed when they went on missions, but she always tries to act smart around her.
Alison would walk downstairs to her armory, holding onto Jason's helmet close. She then turns it around to see herself in the visor and would stare at it again. She wishes she was here, right now. She wishes she could see his face, have him hold her and help her through these tough times. She would then take a deep breath before putting his helmet on a pedestal with the recorder infront of it. She kneeled down infront of it and stared at it once again. This time, staring at it for hours. Playing back all the moments with him in her head, though the one moment that really played back in her head was the moment when Jason saved her... she wishes he could've stayed by her side forever.
