Mission after mission, she would start to get back into the feel of things. Of course, the missions she went on now were not nearly as intense as they were before. Really she was just scouting out certain areas, refortifying defenses and all that, just in case the covenant would come to earth. The General wasn't comfortable enough for her to go on any missions involving the covenant, but sometimes she goes onto missions with newly formed rebels. Funny, dealing with rebels made her feel so much like she was back in old times. Minus the armor, of course.
She's met another spartan that became her main partner. She goes by her codename, Jewel, probably for her smug and selfish attitude. She didn't like her very much but Alison had to admit, they do make a pretty good team. But it was clear that Alison had more experience than her, and she loved to hold it against her. Jewel would always get jealous when Alison was doing better than her.
Today wasn't the usual day though. As Alison was armored up and walks out the door. She was greeted by two ONI soldiers. It came as a shock for her, especially seeing those uniforms once again, the ones Jason and Alison used to wear before Noble Team. "ONI members? Can I help you?" She asks and while reaching back to close the front door "Hello Noble 7. We're here on orders to bring you a message from Holland herself!" He says with his hands behind his back. Halsey. It's good to know she made it out. So that must mean Jun made it out as well. Soon the other guy would speak out saying "A distress signal was finally picked up from Reach. When it was made we are unsure but it's still very active. It seems it's coming from Noble 6's old helmet. As you two were close, Halsey thought it'd be best for you to know."
She started hearing a voice. Jason's voice. It kept on repeating her name. Her eyes widened, she started to shake, her fists balled up. It was like Jason was calling to her, telling her to come back to him. "We don't know what you with that info. But Halsey thought-" The solider would get cut off by Alison pushing them both out of the way and running to her Spade and speeding her way back to the main area. She has to find out what happened. Even if there was a sliver of hope of him being alive, she has to take it. She doesn't care if she dies for this info, she'll do it with any risk
As she made it, she would finally stop behind the Pelican she used. She would about to climb up to the pilot's seat before getting stopped by General Edwards "Woah woah! Where do you think you're going?!" She would push him off before yelling "I'm going to Reach!" She yells and turns back around, only to get stopped again by the General again "Are you insane?! Reach is lost! You'll have a high risk of-" He would get cut off by Alison getting in her face and yelling "I've been fucking insane ever since I got off that planet! How would you like it if you saw your friends die one by one?! You wouldn't be as optimistic as you are now!" She yells and grabs onto the ladder with one hand, making General Edwards grab her another arm "I know what you've been through, but I can't allow you to do this. It puts you and all of us in danger."
Alison thought to herself, he was right. She could die going there, or worse, she could be followed and then Earth gets invaded. Even those possibilities didn't stop her. She would grab Edwards and throw him off of her, making him fall to his back. "I'm sorry... but I must see what happened to my friend." She says before finally climbing into the cockpit, turning on the Pelican before blasting herself into space once more
"Jesus. Send directions to Reach." She says with determination in her eyes, continuing to launch up "Noble 7, that is highly not recommend for it is-" "Just do it!" She yells. She started to hear his voice again. He kept on calling to her. "I'm coming Jason... I'm coming..." How could she leave him now after everything they've been through. She never mentioned it to him before, in fact she regrets never saying anything now, but she had feelings for him. She just wishes she can go back to being with him, though it wasn't always so perfect.
