Pre-game thoughts: This one wasn't asked about a lot in the past, per se, but I've gotten some very recent requests from TheDeathKnights (love your comments!) and Pinkkitty10 to give my thoughts on this staple of object show shipping: Fireafy!

Rating out of 100: 68/100!
Do I ship this?: Sort of!
Why do I/don't I ship this?: I don't actively ship a lot of BFB characters; I prefer them as friends as a general rule, you know? Despite that, though, Fireafy is has a storied dynamic with a lot of rich history that I can appreciate. Their resolution in the courtroom episode was excellent, too. I personally like them slightly better as friends, but I'm not picky!
Is this my favorite ship for one/both of the characters?: Probably!

Thoughts on the ship name: I think it's about as good as it can be for these two! It's awkward to pronounce, but really charming.
My favorite story involving these two: I don't think I've ever read a Fireafy story before. Do you have recommendations?
Things I enjoy in art/stories about them: Because I haven't read about them, I will say that I enjoyed their arc in BFDI! I wish more characters had actual arcs, because when BFDI goes all-into them, they tend to be fairly good.
Things I wish I saw more of in art/stories about them: I wish we could've seen them interact more as friends throughout BFDI.

Five headcanons about them:
Fiery really loves amusement parks and fairs, which is why he made his ferris wheel in Season 1 to begin with! That'd be the ideal hangout to him: going to an amusement park together so they can experience the adrenaline of the rides together!
Yoyleberries make you immune to being burned, right? Leafy could frequently bake pies for them to eat together when they hang out, so they can hug and stuff without her dying.
In fact, sometimes they bake the pies together! Leafy's cooking know-how, combined with Firey's natural ability to warm things up, makes them a dynamic duo in the kitchen. Whenever the others have parties they want to have catered, they'd beg Firey and Leafy to do it.
Firey somehow gets a log cabin in the middle of the woods, which they visit together sometimes. Firey comedically burns it down almost every time he enters because he forgets that he's made out of fire and leans against the walls and such, though.
For some reason, I could totally see them playing video games together, where the one playing it sits on the other's lap while they're playing. They aren't even gamers, but I could see them doing that while playing Mario Kart or something.
A story I'd write about them, if I had the time/interest:
Warmest Regards, a longer fic in which Firey watches (and helps) Leafy grow as a person and make amends with her former BFDI competitors. Though there'd be ups and downs, through them, Firey and Leafy would grow closer, and Firey would grow to admire and adore Leafy's own determination to make things right!
The holiday that best reflects this ship, and why: New Year's, because they are all about celebrating new beginnings!
Where do they end up in life?: Happy among their fellow contestants, that's for sure! Whether they're together or not, they're the people a lot of others go to about their problems.
