Overprotective

Ever since Marinette has found the bat cave, she hangs out with her brothers in the bat cave, watching them fight. Apparently, during her first nightmare they had gone to patrol the city. When Bruce came upstairs, he found a person who happened to be Marinette, crying curled up in a ball. Dick is teaching her Gymnastics. She is much more flexible than she used to be. Jason also taught her some self-defense moves. Mostly she just watches them from Bat computer with Grandpa Alfie. He still doesn't let her stay up later than her bed-time, not that she could. She starts getting sleepy at 10. They usually have prank wars, family nights and they also go to amusement parks together. She has made several friends at school. She misses Mamma and Papa but whenever she does, She can call them from the big screen. Grandpa Alfie taught her how to use it. Since she is a fast learner, she can do it herself. But Grandpa Alfie told her about time-differences. So, she can't call them randomly. She an't tell mamma about the cave.

She was sitting in the bat-cave. Ubaba has been a little overprotective, since she found the bat cave. He got her a chair with a strap so she doesn't fall from it. She can't touch the bats, and she can't go near the weapons. She didn't understand his concern though. She couldn't even reach Jay-Jay's shoulder, how is she supposed to touch the bats that are so so up. Sometimes Dada confuses her.

She walked up to Dick who was suiting up. He was looking for his utility belt. She sprint and got the belt. She was about to give him, when two gloved hands picked her up and the next thing she knew of she was sitting on her Dada's shoulders. Her dada took the belt from her. 

"Mon Chou, you shouldn't run so fast. You can trip and fall." 

"I am fine Ubaba." Marinette pouted. 

"No, Mon chou. You shouldn't hold the utility belt. If you got hurt by the batarangs, What are we going to do?" Marinette frowned.

 "I am getting you some gloves otherwise you will prick your fingers someday." He murmered.

 "DADA!" She yelled. 

"I will have to get knee caps for you, and a helmet so that you don't scrape your knees like last time again." Alfred, Jason and Dick were watching Bruce or rather Batman, talking like Marinette is some kind of Glass doll who will break just by touching. Alfred shook his head. 

Next day Marinette was watching her brothers spar from afar. Then she saw there was a knife near Jay-Jay's foot and he was going to step on it. She ran as fast as she could and yelled,"Jay-Jay." 

They both were startled and Dick fell on Jason while Jason almost fell on the knife. Key word: almost. Marinette picked the knife and ducked as her brothers fell on the floor. "Ouch." Muttered Dick. Then they picked up Marinette,"Pixie you alright?" Dick jumped," Cupcake, you aren't hurt are you?" Then came her father and picked her up,"Marinette! Why did you do that?" He was giving her an intense look which scared her. "I-I There was a-a kni-knife near Jay-Jay." Marinette muttered close to crying. Why is Ubaba acting all scary? She wants her dada back. Jason snatched Marinette from Bruce as he and Dick gave Alfred a nod. "Jason." Bruce glared at him but Jason raised an eyebrow as Dick tried to calm down a crying Marinette. "I will suggest to let them go, Master Bruce. You and I are going to have a long talk." Alfred said and Bruce looked at Alfred with shock. "Let's go to shopping, Baby bat." Dick said. But Marinette was still crying. Once the children were out Alfred and Bruce sat down to talk............
