Minji
School summer camp, also known as a total waste of time and energy and pure hell. Six weeks of doing 'educational activities' while camping in some stupid forest.
Now there's only two types of people on this bullshit camp. We have the ones who go here voluntarily because they genuinely enjoy this crap, and then we have the ones who are forced to go because their grades are lower than my will to live, which at this point, trust me, is very low.
Now you may already have guessed which one of these two I am. That's right, I am forced to go here because of my bad grades, again. I was here last year too, and if it is gonna be as crappy as last year, which I am sure off, then this will be a rough six weeks in which I will have to surpress the urge to jump off a cliff every single nano second of every single day.
I am pretty sure this will be worse than last year tho, seen the fact that this year my best friends Siyeon and Bora aren't here with me. Last year they were send here with me because all of our grades sucked but this year their grades were pretty decent while mine still sucked so they weren't forced to go here, unlike me. So far I am just surrounded by nerds and losers.
"Students pay attention please. It is time to leave which means you can put your bag in the bus and take a seat. Once everyone's in the bus we'll do a check to see if everyone's here." one of the teachers says.
I roll my eyes in annoyance before I take my bag and sloppily throw it in the loading area of the bus with the other bags before I get inside the bus and take a seat somewhere right next to the window.
I take out my airpods and connect them to my phone before I put them in my ears and play some music as I stare out of the window hoping no one will take a seat beside me.
I can't believe I'm gonna be stuck here again for six whole weeks. It was already hell last year but then I at least had my friends. Now I have no one. I never thought I'd say it but, I regret not studying harder. Ugh, why didn't I just get good grades? Then I could have been enjoying my summer break with friends doing fun things instead of going to this hellish camp.
I am pulled out of my thoughts when I feel something beside me and when i turn my head to look I see a girl sitting next to me. She has long black hair and is wearing black ripped jeans with a white shirt tucked into it and a black leather jacket. I recognise her face but I do not know her name. She is just staring in front of her with a resting bitch face, making me believe she isn't here voluntarily either. She's too hot to be here voluntarily.
"What?" she asks once she notices my stare.
"Nothing." I say coldly before I look out the window again.
"Alright, let's do an attendance check. If I say your name please raise your hand." I hear the teacher say.
"Lee Gahyeon?"
"Here."
"Im Yeojin?"
"Present."
"Choi Yerim?"
"I'm here."
"Kim Yerim?"
"Yes here."
"Kim Jiwoo."
"I'm here."
"Lee Chaeryeong?"
"Present."
"Lee Chaeyeon?"
"Also here."
"Shin Yuna?"
"Here."
"Ahn Yujin?"
"Here."
"Choi Yena?"
"Here."
"Kwon Eunbin?"
"Present."
"Park Sooyoung?" the teacher calls.
"Sadly, here." the girls beside me says with a sigh.
"Kim Minji?" I hear the teacher call.
"Yupp." I say lazily raising my hand.
"Last but not least, Kim Yoohyeon." the teacher says causing me to look up.
"Here." she says and at that I turn my head to look at her. I didn't know she was here again this year. She was here last year as well and looking at her sitting there, at the back with her friend, seeing her face, reminds me of everything that happened last year making me believe that this year will be even worse than I thought.
