What is that awful noise down stairs? God Ashton probably has all of his dumb friends here again. It's nine in the morning on the first weekday that I haven't have school or had to work in months. Why do they have to do this now?
As I walk down stairs I notice the back of some girls head. That's weird. It's normally just the boys. I walk to the kitchen which is just across the living room to get some orange juice and that's when I figure out who the girl is. Why is she here? Out of all of the girls in this town, Ashton had to bring Indie into my house.
I make eye contact with Ash who was hanging on to his drum set and then I lock eyes with her. "Ha didn't realize you were holding orchestra practice Ash." He shoots me a confused look which I requite with a smile mirk. "Let me know when the band geek leaves," I tell Ashton.
As I'm walking up the stairs I hear a knock on the door and Ash yell "Bea, get that." so I turn around and walk back down to the front door. When I opened it it was just Mikey, Calum, and a new face. One I'd never saw before. Calum introduced him as Luke and then began to shade me for my appearance. I'd forgotten that I'd just woken up so I was wearing one of my brother's old band shirts and a pair of shorts. I had my hair in a ridiculous looking messy bun. What he really was impressed to see was that I was wearing my glasses. That's what I always get the most shit for.
Calum is Ashton's best friend and they've been best friends for as long as I can remember. He always manages to treat me as if I'm his little sister too.
"Luke, have you met Bea? She's Ash's baby sister," Calum expressed to Luke. Luke just shrugged and said no and Calum replied with "Eh, she's weird anyway. Hey Bea where's Ashton?" "He's in the living room giving orchestra lessons to the needy," I said as I turned around and made eye contact with Indie.
I saw Luke look over Mikey's shoulder into the living room where he saw my brother and Indie sitting. "I don't know who the fuck you think you are talking shh..," Luke started but Mikey cut him off. I laughed, "No need to get so sassy blue eyes. If anyone needs me I'll be up stairs."
I pick up my orange juice off the the side table where I sat it before I opened the door and made my way upstairs. I had a huge interview that I needed to prepare for. If I ever wanted to get into Juilliard this interview was a necessity. It wasn't for another month but I needed to start preparing my piece to preform now. I hadn't even started. So I sat down at the keyboard in my room and began to write.
I must have spent that entire day writing because I woke up to my morning alarm without a memory of even falling asleep. I had papers shredded all over my bedroom and when I look at my music book, not a note to show for it. Anyway, none of that matters right now. I have to be at school in an hour. So, I get up and get ready.
