I continue to work on my chemistry. I'm stuck on the last problem.

There's a knock on the door. I hope Michael isn't here first. Ashton's downstairs so I know I'll have to get it. I walk over to the door and look through the peek hole. Oh thank god. It's Luke and Indie. I've never been so happy to see them before. Hell, I never thought I would be happy to see them.

I open the door. "Hey, Ashton's downstairs." I say. Indie smiles and starts to walk towards the basement stairs. Luke walks at a much slower pace and gives me a small smile as he walks past. They both go downstairs so I grab my Chem book and follow. I definition don't want to have to get the door when Mikey gets here.

"Wow, Bea. You've decided to join us for once?" Ashton questions when I first become visible on the stairs. I just sign and sit down on the couch across from Luke and Indie and start burying my nose into my chemistry book.

There's a knock. I don't even look up because I know If I do I'll get pressured to go open it. Within seconds I hear steps coming down the stairs. They must have just let themselves in. It was Michael and Calum. I look up and see Luke making deadly eye contact with Mikey.

He sits down by me. Mikey. Mikey sits down by me. "Bea, talk to me. I miss my best friend," Michael says. I don't even look up. I can't look at him. He moves closer, grabs my shoulders, and forces me to look at him. "Bea, fucking talk to me." Michael demands. I feel my throat start to close and I feel my eyes starting to fill with tears. I throw my book onto the ground and run up the stairs, nearly tripping over my own feet. I lean against a wall in the living room. I can't help but cry.

I hear footsteps. Oh my god. If it's Michael I'm done. The door opens slowly and I see Luke peek from behind the door. "Bea, are you okay?" He whispers. He walks over to me and wraps his arms around me. "I know this is hard for you but you can't let him control you're life. You can't run from him forever." Luke assures me but I can't help but continue to cry. He pulls me in close. Luke grabs my face underneath my chin and gently forces it up so my eyes meet his. "You're beautiful, even when you cry. You know that right?" Luke turns my head a bit and whispers into my ear. Then his eyes meet mine once again. "Bea, can I kiss you?" I couldn't get words out. I was in such shock. I nodded yes. So, Luke kissed me. Softly. His lips were so soft and it felt like I was stuck there in that moment for years. I felt like the entire room was spinning around us. You know in movies when there's that long awaited romantic kiss and suddenly the entire room starts spinning? That's what it felt like.

I felt Luke's hand wrap around the back of my neck. He still didn't break the connection we had.

"What the fuck?" I hear someone yell. Our connection breaks as we jerk around to see who it is.
