A/N: So no one has made any requests yet, so I am going to try my hand at this anyway. Requests will always be open, but I am going to add things to this when I can. If you like what you read, please share this and maybe make a request? Please? ^^

So this story is set between season 2 and 3 when the ninja are teaching at Master Wu's Academy.

Y/N walked down the hall towards the teacher's lounge. Who knew being the librarian of an academy could make someone so hungry. Y/N placed a hand on her stomach as it began to growl louder. She quickened her pace and quickly made it to her destination. With a sigh of relief, she crossed the room and flung the fridge door open. Her heart sunk when she remembered that she hadn't packed a lunch or snack this morning. With a sigh, she slowly closed the door to the fridge, when something delicious caught her eye.

A large slice of chocolate cake.

Y/N glanced behind her before staring back at the slice. Her mouth watered a little as she reached for the cake. She hesitated right before she touched the cling wrap that was around the baked good.

"Surely this belongs to someone," the H/C girl thought. Her stomach growled in protest.

Quickly, she grabbed the plate and searched all over for a name. The rule of the fridge was that if there was a name on it, it was claimed. She smiled when she found no name on the cake. She closed the fridge and made her way to the little dining table, grabbing a fork on her way. Unwrapping the cake, she licked her lips ravenously.

In no time at all, Y/N had eaten most of the cake. As she was taking the last bite, someone coughed. The H/C froze in mid-bite as her eyes slowly turned to gaze at Cole, who was staring from the door.

"What?" Y/N asked, lowering her fork.

"Is that my cake?" he asked, crossing his arms.

"No," she answered quickly.

"Oh really? How do you know that?" he questioned, walking over to the fridge. He opened it to see the empty space where the slice of cake had been. He turned and raised an eyebrow as he pointed inside the fridge.

"That is where I put it."

Y/N gazed into the fridge, struggling to find the right words to say. She had been so hungry that she didn't even think that Cole would have brought cake. Although, she should have. Y/N paid more attention to Cole than she did any of the others. The children would tease her when they came into the library for research.

Y/N had a crush. And she had just eaten his cake.

"Hello? Earth to Y/N," Cole said, waving his hand in front of her face. Y/N blushed when she noticed how close the Earth Ninja was to her.

"What?" she asked.

"I said, what do you have to say for yourself?" Cole asked again, leaning closer.

"You're name wasn't on it," Y/N remarked, trying to inch away, her face getting redder.

"Yes it was," the raven haired boy argued, backing away to look at the cling wrap. He searched for a few seconds before sighing in defeat.

"At least I thought I did," he muttered. Y/N looked down at the plate. The last bite was still sitting on the fork where she had left it. She smiled slightly as she grabbed the fork.

"Here, you can have the last bite," she offered, holding the fork.

"Really? Thanks Y/N,"

Cole leaned forward and ate the last bite from the fork that Y/N had been holding. When he stood, he licked the frosting off of his lips with a smile. Y/N felt as if Kai had set her face on fire. She had just fed Cole a bite of cake and he enjoyed it.

"Oh, I've read too much fanfiction to know where this could go," she muttered, dropping the fork on the plate.

"Are you okay?" Cole asked with concern.

"Oh yeah, just fine," Y/N answered without looking at him. She grabbed the plate and stood to place it in the sink. She took two steps before tripping on her own feet. Y/N dropped the plate and threw her hands in front of her face before she felt a pair of strong arms around her waist. Cole gently placed Y/N on her feet and began to search for any scrapes. Y/N kept her eyes closed, feeling his breath tickle her cheek. She knew that he was just worried, but he didn't know what he was doing to her.

"I think you need to have Zane check you out. You might have come down with something," Cole suggested, placing the back of his hand to her forehead.

"Yeah, come down with a bad case of love," Y/N thought to herself as she slowly opened her eyes. Cole lowered his hand. His gaze soften when he realized what was going on.

"You're not sick, are you?" he whispered with a small smile. Y/N shook her head slightly in response. Thousands of fanfiction scenarios flashed in her head, many of them very citrus-y. (if you know what I mean >:D ) Cole leaned forward and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, letting his hand rest on her cheek.

"I didn't realize you felt the same way," he whispered, gently rubbing his thumb across her cheek. Y/N's eyes widen, before she closed them and gently nuzzled into his hand. Cole smiled as he leaned in to kiss her.

"MR. BROOKSTONE IS GONNA KISS MS. L/N!!!!!"

Both Cole and Y/N turned towards the door to see a group of boys standing there, making kissy noises. They're faces turned red as the noises became louder. Cole turned to face Y/N.

"We'll finish this later, if you want to," he said.

"It's a date then," Y/N grinned. Cole smiled and lightly kissed her forehead before turning to face the group of unruly children.

"Who wants 50 pages of homework?" he asked, quickly walking towards the children. They stiffened before running down the hall, Cole hot on their tail.

A date with Cole. The thought brought a smile to her lips as she placed the plate in the sink. Y/N laughed when she heard one of the boys yell.

"MR. BROOKSTONE IS THE WORST!"

"The children may think that, but I think he's the best," she thought.
