KARLS POV
okay... today i finally get to take y/n on a date. im not gunna screw this up. it was about midday so i got out of bed and texted y/n

change of plans, im gunna come pick you up at like one instead of four

but the movie doesn't start until the evening?

okay cool so i need to get a clean and wear something smart, but not too smart. ya know so they dont think im trying to hard. i go take a quick shower and throw on some clothes. i wore a striped yellow shirt with some baggy black jeans. "BAILEY IM GOING NOW" i yelled. in return he yelled "OKAY GOOD LUCK SEE YOU LATER" cool. i jumped in the car and started to drive to chandler and y/ns house.

Y/NS POV
huh, get ready now? i wonder what else were gunna do today? i hope its fun. i put on baggy jeans, a belt, a turtleneck and a blazer and walk out my room "HEY CHANDLER COME HERE" i shouted. chandler ran up to me. "whats good?" he asked, smiling. "the outfit. do you think karl will like it?" chandlers face fell a little but he examined the outfit nonetheless. "hmm... yeah... looks perfect to me" he said, patting my head and walking off "thanks man!" suddenly i heard a knocking at the door. karl was here. i took a final look in the mirror and went down to open the door. "hi!" i smiled at karl "hey, you look really great"  i blushed a little "thanks... so where are we going?" karl grabbed my hand and led me to the car "you'll see"

on the drive to out mystery location, i started looking around karls car... ya know just to see what i could find. his car was pretty clean, no empty bottles on the floor or nothing. i opened up the glove box to see a strip of condoms. oh wow. well now i know who he wants this date to end. "what are you doing?" karl asked, as we stop at a red light "oh nothing just looking around and stuff." karl looked over to see the glove box open "oh god. uh im sorry about those" his face turns bright pink, i laugh "oh its okay dont worry" i closed the glove box, the light turned green and we keep going.

finally, we arrived and got out of the car "oh my god this place is beautiful" we were at some sort of botanical garden. this is a lot more romantic than i thought it would be, maybe karl does like me. karl walked over to me and held my hand "yeah... i thought we should make this date special..." i felt my face heat up when he said that. i nodded in response and we started to walk through the flowery archways. we kept walking until we found a cute bench all on its own, it was next to a pond and surrounded by carnations, roses and dahlias. we sat down together and looked at each other. karl took out his phone and took a picture of me with all the flowers "oohhh send that to me" i said "you got it" he replied.

we ended up sitting on the bench and talking for at least an hour, id even forgot time existed until i got a text from chandler "hold on one sec" i pulled out my phone and karl nodded.

i dont have time for chandler right now. im busy "who was that?" karl asked "oh just chandler" i checked the time "hey i think we should be going... for the movie ya know?" i showed karl the time and we both stood up and held hands once more. the walk back to the car was so nice... it felt like karl was the only thing that mattered. we finally got back to the car and got it "thanks for bringing me here man" karl smiled at me "its no problem! i just thought it was beautiful... like you" oh my god karl just called me beautiful. i blushed and thanked him and we started driving to the movie theatre.

when we got there we bought some snacks and stuff and went inside. the lights were low and they had those comfy bean bag chairs. we sat down together "god this must be like my third time watching this movie" karl said "ive never seen it." karl turned to face to "what?? how! it came out at the beginning of the year!" karl looked shocked, i giggled "i dont know i just never got round to watching it" karl shook his head at me "well your gunna love it cause its really good." he stated. i nodded as the movie started.

it hadn't been long and my phone started buzzing. assuming it was chandler, i turned it off and put my head on karls chest. he put a hand in my hair and i look up at him, he smiled and i smiled back. i wanna do this forever.

it was like half way through the movie and i felt karl grab my waist. i look at him and he pulled me onto his lap. i blushed a little and whispered "you were right this movie is actually really good" karl laughed a little and whispered back "of course it is the movie is about sonic" karl went back to watching the movie but i just kinda stared at him for a while. hes real cute.

the movie had just ended and we were getting ready to leave. i yawned and karl stopped "you tired?" i looked at him kinda weird "yeah? but not like a lot" karl crouched down "get on my back" i laughed, got on and he stood up. i clung onto his back and he carried me out to the car. we got in the car and started driving home. we were pretty quiet the whole way home but in a comfortable way, not awkward. i looked over at karl and he looked real happy, i was happy too, how could i not be that was the best date ever.

karl drove me back to my place and when we got there we both got out the car and he walked me to the door. what a gentleman. "hey, i had fun today." karls face went i little red "we should do this again sometime" i replied "yeah we should" we stood there in silence together, the tension was high but both of us knew what was gunna happen next. karl put a hand on the side of my face and we looked into each others eyes, slowly, we leaned in and then it happened. karl lips met mine and it felt amazing. i closed my eyes and karl moved his arms to be around my waist, and i put my arms around his neck. soon enough we pulled away, still holding each other close. "i should probably get going... but ill see you tomorrow right?" karl asked "yeah of course" we both let go of each other and went inside as karl walked back to his car.

the reality of the situation started to set in. karl kissed me. that really just happened. i threw off my blazer and hung it up, when i was walking upstairs i stopped by chandlers room "hey chan, just telling you im home!" i said, poking my head through the door. "okay cool, hope your date was good" he said, a little bit sarcastically. i rolled my eyes and went into my room. i flopped on the bed like i was in a teenage romance movie and pulled out my phone
