KARLS POV
i really need to rethink this agreement i made with chandler. i like y/n and i gotta tell them but i dont want chandler to be mad at me. y/n said that i shouldn't break my promise but i think i gotta. ill tell chandler when he comes over tonight. i really hope he doesn't get mad

i checked the time and it was about 2:30 so i decided to text y/n since i had nothing better to do

i guess we lost track of time cause by the time we finished playing it was 4 o'clock. y/n said goodbye and logged out. jeez im really head over heels for them. im pretty sure they like me too cause we kissed, but the again they never asked me out after that. who knows.

at 6 jimmy pulled up and knocked on the door. bailey answered it and jimmy came in "hey man! whats good?" him and bailey talk for a while before coming in to the front room and sitting on the sofa next to me "hey man... you and y/n dating yet?" woah there buddy. that caught me off guard. "what? i- well-" jimmy laughed at me "im just playing, but i know your into them" i sighed "is it that obvious" jimmy nodded and i laughed a little "well i guess you cant kick old habits" jimmy looked at me, confused "what do you mean old habits? karl... do you and y/n have some dramatic backstory you never told me about?"

"well-" before i could say anything i heard a knock at the door. i went to go get it and chandler and y/n were at the door. "hey guys!" i smiled. they both greeted me and came in. chandler sitting on the sofa next to jimmy, where i was before, and y/n sitting on a bean bag chair. i sat next to them. "we watching the next saw movie?" they asked "yep! this one has some seriously good gore!" i said, maybe a little too excited. ill tone it down.

since we were still waiting in chris, tyler and jake i decided now was the perfect time to talk to chandler. i walked behind the sofa and tapped chandlers shoulder "hey can i talk to you for a sec?" chandler nodded, stood up and followed me into the hallway. i leaned against the door "hey... i know we talked about y/n and how were not gunna ask them out... well..." chandler looked at me kinda funny "well?" he said, crossing his arms "im gunna ask them on another date" i said, avoiding eye contact with him "dude! thats so not cool"
"i know we made an agreement and all but... i gotta do this." i sighed "well... i guess this is us competing for y/n attention. again." i nodded reluctantly. like i said before i hate to fight with chandler especially over someone else but here we are... fighting over someone else. at least we'll be friends again when i inevitably win over y/ns heart... hopefully. we both made our way back into the front room to see that tyler and jake had arrived "oh hey guys" chandler said through gritted teeth. yikes. he walked over to them and i sat back down next to y/n and looked over at chandler. he glared at me a little then went back to talking to jake. "everything alright karl?" y/n asked. i looked at them and smiled "yeah... hey i was thinking about our date and just wondering, would you want to maybe... i dont know... do it again sometime soon?" y/n smiled and nodded "id love to!" we decided on a date and time and with that we had a date planned.

chris finally showed up, late as usual. he sat down and i put the movie on. i grabbed y/ns hand and whispered "this ones my favourite" y/n smiled and squeezed my hand, they also rested their head on my shoulder which probably made chandler mad but at this point i really couldn't care cause i was with y/n so i was happy.

it got to the part in the movie with the rack. i could already tell y/n wasnt gunna like this part. i whispered to them and told them so they buried their head into my chest. i put a hand on their hair and stroked it a little.

after the movie was over everyone was getting ready to leave, even y/n "hey y/n, i thought you were gunna stay the night?" i said. y/n shook their head and said they were tired which is fair enough but i still woulda liked them to stay "well ill see you at the warehouse tomorrow" i waved goodbye and with that they were gone. it was just me and my two roommates.
