Rae's pov I woke up to a pain in my chest and a strange beeping sound. "Hello?" I called out, my eyes still closed.
"Rae?" I recognized as my mother, "Oh my gosh." "Doctor, she's awake!"
"Ok Rae do you feel any sort of numbness or pain?"
"I only feel pain in my chest."
"We have you on a 2 week watch for your chest but after than you can be released."
"What about Naomi?" I asked remembering my best friend
"She was not as lucky, she was paralyzed from the waist down."
"This is all my fault, I should have never brought her to our house, then I would have only had to suffer."
"Ok Mrs.Richards visiting hours are over and your daughter needs rest."
"Bye honey, I love you."
"I love you too."
After they left i drifted into a dreamless sleep, wishing I could take it all back.
