Quarantine was starting to get to you. Being inside watching the empty streets all day was getting tiring. By luckily you were in a dorm with Seventeen...wait maybe that's not so lucky.

.

You woke up at the crack of dawn to make a coffee and watch the sunrise. After adding sugar and crème you walked out of the dorm and went to the roof. To your surprise the door was open. The brick you use the prop the door open was already there. Tightly holding your coffee you cautiously opened the door. Unfortunately the bolts made a loud squeaking noise.

"Hey! Who's there?" Yelled a voice

You froze not sure to answer or not. A figure walked up to you, Jun.

"Oh thank goodness! I thought you were a murderer!" You sighed.

"I thought you were a murderer !" He chuckled easing the tension.

"How come you're up here?" You asked as you headed over grabbing a dusty plastic chair.

"Came to watch the sunrise, you?"

"Same." You look over and see a blanket and coffee mug resting on another chair.

"I see that you're all ready," you smile motioning your head over to the chair

Jun chuckled as her rubbing the back of his neck, "Yeah, I'm getting tired of staying in the dorm so I decided to wake up early and watch the sunrise."

"Yeah me too. I've been coming up here for the past weak." You take a sip of your coffee.

"Oh, no wonder I hear the cupboards opening that early in the day, I thought it was Joshua, he usually wakes up early." Jun walked over to his seat.

"Nope. Haha, that's me."

"Wanna be sunrise buddies?" He asked looking up at the navy blue sky.

"Sure! I'd like that, watching the sunrise by myself has been getting a little boring, I'm lonely."

Jun scoots his chair closer to you, knees almost touching.

"Yeah that does sound lonely." He chuckles patting your head.

You feel heat rise up your cheeks. You look up at the sky avoiding his eye contact. Good thing he couldn't see your blush, it was still dark.

Jun moved his hand down to yours. It was silent, only the loud cicadas in the distance could be heard. Jun gulps nervously.

You look down and squeeze his hand lightly. You looked at him and smiled. His nerves died down.

"Thanks for being my sunrise buddy," he says almost in a whisper.

"No problem." You reply just as softly.

As soon as it got quiet the sun started to rise and you both sat there hand in hand watching the night turn into morning.
