Time after time Jeonghan was gone, either practicing with the guys or out at the bar with them. He rarely came to see you. You knew that blaming him for his busy schedule was selfish. From the beginning you knew what the sacrifice was when dating an idol. But as the relationship became more and more serious the more and more Jeonghan seemed to further himself from you.

Now what was there to do? Wait for him everyday hoping he'd come through the door while you were awake? Or spare yourself the damage. Your mind kept on wondering.

*few weeks later*

After that night you decided to wait and see if things would get better. They did not. Jeonghan came home earlier but he was always tired and went to sleep first. Hardly saying hi or giving you a hug. Not even a kiss. You sat on the couch contemplating what to do next.

You walked into the bathroom to see Jeonghan brushing his teeth.

"Can I talk to you?" You asked timidly.

He looked at you nodding.

"I was thinking that, it was time we end things."

As you were saying that he spit out the toothpaste into the sink.

"You what?" He asked.

"I was think that we should end things." You repeated.

He wiped his mouth and walked to the bed. As he sat down he let out a long sigh.

"I...was thinking the same." He said avoiding your gaze.

"I don't see you often with your busy schedule and I knew the sacrifices I'd be making but I don't know if I want to continue making them." You played with your fingers waiting for his response.

"I feel the same. It's unfair that I am coming home later and later leaving you. I started to realize that on my own. I want what's best for you." He said looking down.

"Thank you Jeonghan." You said. You didn't give him a hug it wasn't the appropriate time. But you both went to bed in silence that night. There was a piece missing from you. You didn't feel like yourself anymore so letting go of the relationship was what was needed. The thing was...should you be happy? Or sad? Nevertheless there were tears running down both your faces that night. Backs facing each other you both didn't know the other was crying.

Jeonghan knew how he was making you feel. He wanted to change it but with his career that was a hard thing to fix. He knew that eventually he'd lose you, he just didn't expect it to be tonight.

*morning*

You woke up to an empty bed. He must've went to work already. That morning you gathered your things and left a note for him.

Thank you Jeonghan for everything. I love you.
