( 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 !! )
really , what are they ?

pov ; THIRD PERSON'S !!

"Neh, what do you think makes a fairy, a fairy? " her voice gave Uraraka goosebumps. They both stood there, at the veranda, the cold wind blew, Uraraka was glad that she brought her jacket.

"Their duty to make sad people happy?" was the first answer she thought of, there's no other answer. What else would it be, right?

"You still believe that?" for some reason, despite her eyes being dark and void of any emotion, she laughed, a hearty one at that. She cups her chin with both palms and leaned her elbows on the railings, hed laughted turned into a low snicker then ended with a small smirk.

"No, it's their wings." Uraraka's eyes widened, confusion written all over her face. "You see, fairies loves their wings, so much, it's a very important necessity to them too."

Them?

"Their wings collects the magicules around the air of the Fairy World, with those collected magicules, the fairy are able to use magic, and are able to live. " after that one sentence, Toga's eyes shifted from the dark sky, to the girl beside her.

"Fairies dies without their wings, magicules are like oxygen for them, to say the least."

The usual Toga, that Uraraka knew, was always laid back, smiling and cheerful. The Toga infront of her now, is nowhere near the one she thought she knew.

"But, you and Izuku are wingless fair— " she cuts herself off, her hand that was reaching out to hold Toga, fell down, back at her side.

"You get it now?" her voice and tone were both scary, what she was saying was scary. Uraraka wished she was slow at understanding such situations.

"Fairies dies without their wings—so how exactly do us, wingless fairies, live?" She stood properly, one hand behind her back, as the other held her cheek.

With a two "Hm." she snickered, Uraraka felt like she couldn't breathe.

"We take the lives of our contractors—"

She felt cold. Her hands were shivering without her noticing. Eyes darted down the floor, knowing not what face she's supposed to show.

Toga just giggles.

"Izuku told you, didn't he? To wallow yourself in sadness and die already." Uraraka froze, he did say that.

"We're all fairies that died but still wanted to live."
Uraraka could hear her walking closer.

"Izuku was once the Great Prince of the Fairies." she felt Toga hold her cheek and make her look up, there she met with dark yellow eyes, the black slit adding even more chills, to her already shivering spine.

What Prince? Wingless Fairies are already dead? And are only able to live by feeding on their contractor's lives? Uraraka had questions piling up her head, yet she just stood there, like a statue, as if she didn't need to say anything.
