As Jake lay in his sleeping bag he tried to remember his life before he got imprisoned forever, but as he tried all he could remember was the day he came here.

He remembered, the guards shoving him through the gate and trying to get back through the invisible barrier. He also remembered the reason he was sent there. He was accused of treason. His friend John had tried to convince him to overthrow the Urb government. He refused, and his friend went on with the plan. When caught, John blamed it on Jake.

When Jake thought about his friend, a hot surge of anger flooded through him. Then after a minute, he couldn't remember what he was angry about. All he remembered was that he was thinking about the day he got sent here.

Jake pushes his ink-black hair out of his teal eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
