Shiko: Once upon a time...

"Japan was under the rule of the four princes of darkness. They all ruled the opposite sides of the country but lived together in the middle. They were all feared but admired. Nobody knew why they were so afraid of them. But it was clear that they weren't exactly peacemakers.
The Dark Blue Prince Y; would turn enemies away just by giving them a harsh look in the eye. His word was absolute and his voice was deep. He had done terrible stuff to many people and nobody had exact proof. He had even taken few people from their families without feeling regret. None of his people felt at ease if they came across him. They could hardly stand."

Hikari: whispers What a scary prince... Shiko silently hushes her and continues the story

Shiko: "The Dark Red Prince T; was mature and respected. His eyes glistened red like rubies. Looking at the moon: they would have a husky blue sparkly... His people thought it would be easy to approach him but he seemed rather on edge. The people didn't know that he had trouble controlling his anger and had also taken some people from their families. He had hurt people... He did feel regret but nobody knew who he really was anyway. He used that against his people and separated himself from almost everyone he came across. So nobody would found out the truth."

Hikari: murmurs What a sad prince... Shiko puts her finger on Hikari's lips to lightly hush her

Shiko: "The Dark Green Prince N; was joyful yet full of lies. He gave the biggest smiles to his people. His people got a little nervous thinking they had a prince that wasn't mature or strong enough to lead them. But he wasn't like that at all. The Dark Green Prince actually had come from a dark background and was the prince who had hurt the most people. It could have even been said that he hunted his own kind. Without regret, he would take people away from their loved ones. Nobody but the other princes knew so kept thinking he didn't need to change."

Hikari frowns, Shiko pets her head

Shiko: "And finally there was The Black Prince; who wouldn't speak to most of his people. He would do his duties and only get together with the other princes when necessary. He hadn't taken anyone away from their loved ones and barely hurt people. Even his enemies didn't think much of him. But he didn't care and just kept doing his duties and supporting the other princes when time came to. He knew the things the others had done but he didn't get himself involved. His people thought he didn't care but probably without him, the other princes would have collapsed."

Hikari very lightly smiles

Shiko: "On one cold winter day, the princes gathered at the middle of their country once again and when nightime came, a beautiful young woman came to their gates."
-"I ask for the four princes of darkness" she asked of the guards. Up until that point, nobody had referred to them as princes of darkness so openly. Three of the princes wanted to lock the woman up in the dungeon after hearing this but one of the princes allowed her to speak to them. The Black Prince.
The woman approached the princes with a light smile and started speaking gently after a small bow."
-"I am here to seek an apology of the princes. If they regret the pain and suffering they have caused their people; I shall grant them with never ending happiness and this country will always have the best of crops. If they truly don't feel regret, their crops will seize to grow and soon, their people shall never see nor smell rain ever again."
The princes look at eachother confused. The dark blue prince Y asks why the woman thinks they've done anything to apologize, she lightly smiles and continues to speak
-"I shall take my leave. My words were true. If your apology comes from the heart and your people truly forgive you, you shall be the most superior"

"The woman turns her back and slowly heads towards the exit, the guards try to hold her but The Black Prince raises his hand, signaling them to stay away. The woman quietly leaves. Later that night, the princes get together in the center building and talk out everything that happened, they don't even fully believe the woman but The Dark Red Prince and the Black Prince convince the others to make a public apology together.
The day after, the princes head to the towns fountain and get on the stage in the area, surrounded by guards. Hundreds of their people travel and gather around. In a few hours, the princes begin their apology. Their confessions. They all stand tall and speak strongly and when they're done talking, the people all start shouting their opinions. The guards make everyone settle down. The princes talk of their power and how they will continue to rule and one by one, they all leave in different directions."

Shiko falls silent, thinking about what else to say, Hikari pokes her lightly

Hikari: So what happened..? Did the people forgive the princes..? Did the woman's words come true..? Did the country see rain again..?

Shiko lightly smiles and silently giggles

Shiko: What do you think? Should the princes be forgiven? She starts to lightly pet Hikari's hair, Hikari thinks

Hikari: I think the princes were bad people... But if they really said sorry from the heart, they deserve a second chance! The Black Prince is a nice person and I think the Dark Green Prince is the meanest! But saying sorry from the heart deserves forgiveness! I think the princes should help with their peoples works and smile more and they could be good people again!~ Shiko giggles

Shiko: What if the Dark Green Prince doesn't mean it when he apologizes? What if the Black Prince gets overwhelmed and turns into a bad person like his fellow princes? What if the Dark Blue Prince doesn't change his attitude...? And the Dark Red Prince gives into his anger more? Her tone of voice turns a little blue, Hikari smiles

Hikari: What if that doesn't happen? Shiko's eyes lightly widen, Hikari giggles
I believe there is good in everyone... Even all the princes of darkness could turn into good people... Shiko lightly smiles as her eyes get slightly teary, she nods

Shiko: So... do you think it rained the next day..? Hikari looks out the window, Shiko also looks out after seeing her

Hikari: I think it did... I'm sure the woman heard their words... I'm sure it was a Happy End... Shiko looks back at her sister

Shiko: "Oh... you really are like a star that lights up my world... I felt stuck in my thoughts and the one who got me out of it was my 4 year old sister..." she lightly giggles and pets Hikari's hair again. Hikari looks at her
Am...I a good sister..? Hikari smiles brightly with glistening eyes

Hikari: The best!~ she hugs Shiko tightly, Shiko's eyes get teary again as she hugs her back

In a few minutes more of them together, they are called to dinner. Hikari goes ahead and Shiko looks out her window once more

Shiko: "I... think I'll give YNTK a calmer approach..." she opens her phone and texts Kuro

"I'll practice the way Ningyo suggested... but we should practice between our small circle first... Aiko and Haru plus us..."

Kuro quickly replies

"Proud of ya!~"

"(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)"

Shiko giggles and heads down to dinner with her family, feeling more confident than usual, as they sit down, her mother looks at her light smiling and asks;

Lisa: Something good happened for once? Shiko slowly looks at her mother

Shiko: No mother... not for once. Once again. Hikari and Shiko lightly giggle, Lisa looks at her husband, Laurance shucks his shoulders and their dinner continues to go calmly

"I...am actually excited..."
