The five days that had passed by had been chaos for meliodas.
Diane had given him a black eye that night that was slowly starting to disappear but she was sun refusing to take to him.
The other guys were more understanding, except for Gowther why cus only take shut the odds of this and that, especially Elizabeth's odds of taking him back, so Merlin had grounded him to the attic for the time being.
For meliodas himself it was worse than chaos.
He drank every night, long into the night.
He slacked when it came to running the boar hat. He wasn't showering, and hardly eating, and his drinking kept him up practically all night.

He knew Diane has been to Elizabeth's home the day street he told the crew about everything, but as said she wouldn't talk to him so he had no way of knowing how Elizabeth was doing.
Maybe she was doesn't recovering. Maybe she was getting depressed.
He just didn't know, and it was eating him alive.

"Diane, just ten him one thing?" King tried to pursue his girlfriend, but every thine he'd ask dice with not tang to him in the next 10 minutes. It was like that with everyone who would ask, and it all made meliodas worry and believe that Elizabeth was at her lowest.
But despite that meliodas was the only one who hadn't asked Diane to delay that information. He wanted to give Elizabeth room and not put his nose in everything.

Ban, who had in a way taken over as the leader while meliodas was depressed, sighed.
"Listen I know that this sucks in more ways than we'd can count, but we still have with a work to do and we open the bar in 1 hour so get a move on people!" He said while he clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.

Meliodas didn't react and continued to clean the sane mug that he'd been cleaning for the pest hour.
He didn't want to with but he knew he had to.
It was a lousy work he did, sure, but most of his friends didn't judge him for that at this time.

Escanor however did walk over, too the night from meliodas and then gave him a new mug that Melissa's began cleaning.
Escanor then stuff beside him for a little while, just watching Meliodas's sad expression.

Meliodas was I've if Escanor's best friends, and he had been the one to convince Escanor that taking his own life was not the way to go.
Escanor their feet like he should be helping meliodas now. But he had no idea how.

Diane was in the balcony on the ruff of the boar hat. There she live nobody with heart her when she called Elizabeth.

"Hi Eli, how are you?" Diane asked silently into the phone, very differently from how she would normally greet her best friend.

"Hi Diane" Elizabeth greeted, and Diane was happy. It sided like Elizabeth was getting better and better each day.
"I'm doing better, I think I might want to meet up with him soon, to work this out like adults..."

"Okay thats good to hear" Diane wanted to Telmex Elizabeth about how broken Meliodas was, because in reality Diane did feel sorry for him, not to get confused with the fact Tara she was still angry at him, but she didn't say it, she didn't want to mage Elizabeth feel guilty.
"Don't think you've been childish though Elizabeth..." Diane said, thinking of the last part of what Elizabeth had said.

Elizabeth let out a sad laugh.
"Sure"

The bar was almost completely full, and buzzing at always.
At one time a  c fight almost broke out but Ban was quick to throw both men out, of course after taking their wallets and teasing the money that they owed.
