For a few months, Tanjiro has wandered throughout the country, spending nights in other's houses as he had helped them. Most of these houses showed a very strange flower emblem on the outside walls. He disregarded them of any value and continued his search of Nezuko. In the middle of the night, he heard random screaming.

"RAHHHH!!! MAKE WAY FOR INOSUKEEEEEE!!!"

A vine was suddenly swung towards the shocked Tanjiro, propelling a man with a boar mask towards him. He then accidentally kicked poor Tanjiro in the face. "You! You look weird! Why do you have horns and slit pupils?" Boar masked man pointed out to Tanjiro. In a futile attempt to play it off, Tanjiro shrugged, "Wh-What are you talking about? You're just seeing things!! It is night right now!"

Several Kaws were heard nearby.

Inosuke shouted, "DO YOU TAKE ME FOR A FOOL? THIS IS SO OBVIOUS!!! YOUR EYES ALSO GLOW IN THE DARK!! COOL!! FIGHT MEEE"

'Ah! I might get exposed...' Tanjiro mentally sighed. Inosuke apparently sensed his change in attitude and screamed, "DONT LOOK AWAY! I SAW THOSE EYES!" Stunned by his unusual sensory abilities, Tanjiro brought up, "I'm Kamado Tanjiro! What are you doing in his mountain?" With a dumbfounded face, Inosuke replied, "What do you mean? I've always lived here!!"

Realising that it might be a sensitive topic, Tanjiro changed topics. "What's your name?" "Hashibira Inosuke!" They chatted for awhile atop a rock, about their favourite things to do, funny stories etc. Whitout thinking, Tanjiro slipped up, "Hey... you'll be a good demon slayer."

"What's a demon slayer?" Inosuke asked. Tanjiro patiently explained, "A demon Slayer is someone who hunts demons. To kill a demon, you need to cut their nape or lure them towards sunlight so they disintegrate. They experience no sense of fatigue and their limbs will regenerate. Their bodies might experience some mutations here and there. "

"WOAH! A DEMON SOUNDS SO FUN TO BEAT !! YOU REALLY THINK I CAN BEAT ONE( demon slayer not demon) ?" "Of course!But demons prey on humans to increase their own power. You'll have to be careful! " Inosuke took a closer look at this mysterious person's features.

A horn protruded fell his forehead. Light pink eyes that glowed amidst the dark. Sharp fangs that poked the sides of his mouth. Long, sharp pointed nails that could rip someone's heart out (omg killua).

Questioning the real identity of this mysterious person, Inosuke reluctantly asked:

"Gonpachiro... are you a demon?"
