Charlie:
I couldn't take it anymore. Wind spirits, Greek gods, water powers? Maybe it's just a dream. wait how could it be a dream, I felt pain, and I was real. I just needed a little alone time. So, I went to the edge of the deck.

The sky was so blue, my favorite color.
The clouds were so...fluffy and beautiful. Suddenly, without thinking, I jumped. after two seconds I realized what I did, I'm such an idiot sometimes. At first, I felt like a bird, and it was amazing...then I realized I was probably going to die.

This is it, this is how I'm going to die. I didn't even get to finish the book I was reading. I was to busy thinking of scenarios that would've never happened in my lifetime, that I didn't really understand that....i wasn't dead.

Yes, darkness engulfed me but, that was the water. Yes, my head was spinning and felt like it was about to explode, but that was the impact of the water (how could I have survived that?). And another thing, I'm NOT wet. I gasped for air. GASPED FOR AIR...UNDERWATER. So much for clearing my head. Speaking of clearing my head, the pain, was gone.
I felt stronger, aware of everything around me.

Except, I didn't notice the giant figure slowly circling me. I felt warm breath on my cheek. It whispered quietly in my ear.
"Death"

I was quickly bound and gaged, but it wasn't rope, it was metal. I suddenly felt weak and tired. Then, I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was in a dark room.
Man I hate the dark, not knowing what is around you, not know who might be there with you.
My hands searched for an opening, a wall, anything. Suddenly, they found a corner.
I crawled to it and fell with my back leaning on the wall. I hugged my knees to my chest.

Voices. there were so many voices.
I didn't know where they were coming from. Everywhere?
"You'll never find your family."
"They will die."
"There's nothing that you could ever do."
Over and over the voices screamed at me. Tears began streaming down my face. My breathing quickened.
My hands reached for my ears as if to block out the voices, the pain, the loss.

Then, I heard something, someone, coming through the dark. Laughter.
Then they spoke.
"Do you honestly believe that will help?"
