Stabbed?

"Charlie?"
"Charlie! your back!"
I woke up just as Luke ran to me to give me a bone crushing hug.
I winced and bit down the urge to scream.
"Yeah, I'm back."
He backed away from me and looked at my side. The knife wound was oozing blood and now was surrounded by a green liquid.
"Charlie?? Why are you bleeding?"
His eyes became sad and curious.
"I'm...I'm fine."
My eyes searched for something to numb the pain.
They stumbled upon Percy's worried glance.
"You're not fine, we need ambrosia."
The pain was beginning  to be unbearable.
"ANNABETH!!"
"ANNABETH" Percy's strong voice carried through the Argo.
I was now struggling to breathe. The world was turning red, I couldn't see clearly.
Annabeth darted through the stairwell.
"Charlie? What do I do?"
Luke was now struggling to hold in tears.
"Luke, I nee...I need you to find...Jason, stay wi...with Jason."
"I want to stay with you."
I looked pleadingly at annabeth. She solemnly nodded.
I looked back at Luke.
He wasn't holding the tears anymore. They were streaming down his face.
I was just able to give a weak smile to Luke when Jason's arms wrapped around Luke. Luke tried to resist but Jason was soon able to take him to the lower deck.
Annabeth was soon at my side, with ambrosia and nectar in her hands.
"I've never seen a wound like this before. I always thought it was a myth."

Percy's pov.
"What do you mean 'myth'?"
I was seriously getting tired of Greek gods and myths that seemed to always bring trouble.
"I've only read about it but the goddess of Misery has a dagger, when stabbed, the victim would experience pain beyond measure physically and emotionally."
They would see their most miserable thoughts as if they were real."

My mind was racing.
"What do we do?"
"How can we save her?"
I just found out I had a sister. I was not going to lose her.
"I'm gonna see if I can clean the wound." Annabeth slowly lifted Charlie's shirt just enough to see the cut.
Charlie was barely there. I could see her eyes wonder the deck.
"LEO!" Annabeth screamed.
"GET TOWELS"

Charlie was barley breathing now.
"Hey, no no no, stay awake."
"Hey. We're gonna find your family."
"You gotta stay awake."
She glanced around the deck.
I could only imagine what she was seeing or imagining.

Her hand reached for my arm and she held on with as much strength as she could muster.
Her skin was pale. Her eyes were glazed and filled with utter fear and misery.
Leo was soon next to annabeth with more ambrosia and towels.

"Percy." Annabeth looked sternly at me. "Put this in her mouth."
She handed me the ambrosia and a towel. Knowing the ambrosia would only help a little, I gave her enough time to eat it and then gave her the towel to mask the terrified screams.

Annabeth began cleaning the gash that was now oozing yellow.
Charlie's eyes got impossibly wide and she screamed.
Her piercing shrieks filled the deck and I prayed that Luke couldn't hear.
Finally Charlie passed out.

Charlie Pov.
I woke up on a bed on the Argo.
I could see through the window next to me that it was still light outside.
My heart was racing and my mind pounding. I need to find Luke.
Slowly, I began to sit up,  ignoring as best I could the pounding headache and burning side.
Finally I was on my own two feet.
Making it to the doorway, I turn down the hallway to get to the eating area.
Leaning on the walls for support, I stumbled through the door.
Everyone seemed to be there except Jason and Luke.
"Charlie!" Percy was the first to come and help me to the table.
"Luke, where's Luke?" I scanned the room in anticipation only to find that he was gone.
"Hey, he's okay. He's with Jason on deck. " Percy was trying his best to calm me but I wanted to see for myself. After seeing all of the visions or whatever they were from the dagger, I was never gonna let Luke out of my sight.
"I have to see him. I need to know he's okay."
I began to walk slowly to the door, but I ran out of wall to lean on.
I didn't want anyone to see me like this.
I looked like a blind ostrich.
It seemed Percy knew how I was feeling. He nodded understandingly and guided me out of the room. I could feel the stares of those still in the room as we left.
"Thank you. " I whispered to Percy.
"No problem. We are family after all. " he glanced at me and smiled.
It gave me hope to see that he accepted me into his family.
It felt good to be accepted.

We reached the deck and I could see Jason doing his best to comfort Luke.
My heart skipped a beat knowing that Luke was here.
He was alive.
He was with me.
"Luke!" I yelled from the stairs.
His head turned and I could see a smile as big as could be gleam at hearing my voice.
"Charlie!!" He screamed.
He ran to me with tears in his eyes.
" I knew you would wake up. "
I kneeled to the ground just as he reached me. I tried not to wince at the pain.
" of course. I told you I'd be okay."
Jason soon followed Luke and gave me a small smile.
"He was telling me stories about you."
"I hope they were the good ones."
" I told him about the time you ran into a wall and then fell in a garbage bag. "
Luke lifted his face with a proud smile on it.
"Thanks for that. You turkey. " I shook my head in embarrassment as Luke laughed.
It was good to be able to laugh and not being constantly stabbed.
My stomach growled.
It was also nice to eat a cheeseburger and actually enjoy it.
"Can I eat?" I asked sheepishly. I hated ruining sweet moments like these but I needed food.
Percy laughed.
"Yeah, I'm in the mood for some pizza."
Jason stared at him.
"Dude, you had pizza five minutes ago."
"Yeah but I could still eat more."
"You had three pieces!"
"Don't judge me." Percy jokingly stomped back to the dining area.
We laughed and Luke soon followed suit. My stomach was screaming for food. And my side screaming for relief.
"Jason? Are we by any chance over water at all?"
"Yeah, why?" He eyed me curiously.
"Could you bring me to the railing?"
He was hesitant but soon helped me to the railing.
I looked by the edge and saw the water below. We weren't too high above it thankfully.
I reached out my hand and watched as water slowly made its way to my hand. I thought it would be cold but it felt amazing. It seemed to know what to do better than I did. I wrapped around my waist like a belt and soaked into my
burning gash that had started to bleed more. The water did its work. It wasn't completely healed, but I was able to walk a little easier now. I wasn't gasping for air or slowly losing consciousness so that's a good sign. There would defiantly be a scar though.
"Alright, now I'm ready to eat my body weight in cheese burgers."
