Chapter Six

-Jungkooks POV-

I was getting ready to go to the movies with Jin and Jimin tonight. Its only been two months since I started dating Hyung. Honestly its been such an amazing time with him. "Hey beautiful." I smiled feeling his arms wrap around my waist. I giggled as he trailed kisses up my neck. "Mm tickles." I said leaning back against him as his fingers trailed up to my chest. I turned around wrapping my arms around his neck. I leaned in connecting our lips together. "Oh wow. Uh this is weird." I jumped back hearing my Fathers voice. Jin tumbled over as I reached for a shirt. This isnt how I wanted him to find out I was seeing someone. "Hi Appa." I said walking over to where he was standing. I stood awkwardly as he moved past me. Jin bowed to him earning a smile from my Father.

He gestured for us to sit down and I was curious to hear what he has to say. "Its not everyday I walk in on my kids kissing someone. But I know you Seokjin. I cant think of a better man for my Son. Now, I dont think I have to say more than this as a warning. Im skilled in weapons even on a moving target. So, be smart about how you treat my baby." My Father said causing me to facepalm. Hes given this speech to alot of others guys we dated in the past. "Kook, can I steal you for a sec?" I nodded turning to give a smile to Jin. He leaned in giving my cheek a kiss. My Father and I are very close. Hes been an amazing Father to me and my Hyung. Hes always been understanding of us. We said our goodbyes before we met Jimin at the car.

We arrived at the theater early and went to find our seats. Yoongi decided to tag along so he stayed with Jimin. Jin and I went to get us some snacks for the movies. "So, I was thinking. Its your birthday next week and I was wondering what you want?" Jin moving to give me a backhug. "A whole day with just you." I said moving to press a kiss to his cheeks. He laughed pulling me in for a kiss. "Disgusting." We pulled apart turning to the lady behind us. It seems she recognized us by the look on her face. "O-Oh Im sorry Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon. I didnt realize it was you." She said quickly bowing to us. "Its 2020 Ma'am. I suggest you be kind to everyone, even if they think or love differently than you." Jin said before pushing me forward to the cashier. We got a treats and made it just in time for the previews.

-Jimins POV-

The movie was actually pretty great. I wanted to go for a walk so Yoongi came with me. It feels like I have bodyguards now since the incident. I dont go anywhere without one of them. "Its so nice out tonight." I said as we walked along the river. I turned seeing Yoongi stepped at a food cart. I walked back to him and found it interesting the way people treat him. It was an older lady but she spoke very respectful to Yoongi. "Here." He said handing me a cup of soup. I smiled lifting it up to smell it. "Thank you Hyung." I said earning a smile from him. There was still more things I was curious about. Even though Ive been with them for months, I still dont know everything. "Can I ask a question? It might might be personal though. So forgive my intrusion." I said as we sat on a park bench. He nodded gesturing for me to continue.

Ive always wondered this, but I didnt know how to ask it. Or if its okay to ask them. "Mr. Jung, he is Jungkooks father. Right?" I asked watching his expression. He smiled turning to face me more. "Yeah he is. Why?" I shrugged feeling more confused. "But why isnt his last name the same then? He said his last name is Jeon." I said causing his expressiin to change alittle. I quickly apologized for being nosey. "Its fine. Jungkook is his step-son. When his Mother died, they were all so broken. She was a beautiful woman. Jungkook asked Mr. Jung if he can change his last name. His Mothers maiden name was Jeon. He wanted to have a piece of her with him. Thats why he is a Jeon." I nodded finding it to be sweet that he wanted that. Also shows how much Mr. Jung loves him.

We continued walking around before starting to walk home. It was quiet out but it was nice. I glanced over to Yoongi who seemed preoccupied. "Are you alright?" I said tapping his arm. He shrugged giving me a small smile. "Im breaking up with Taekwang. I spoke to both of our Fathers about it. They understand and the alliance can still be made without a marriage." I nodded listening to him. He always seemed happy when Taekwang was around. "I just dont want to hurt him. Hes a nice guy and I geniunely liked spending time with him." He said taking a seat on the steps to the house. "Im sure he will understand Hyung. Do what you feel is right, even if you end up staying with him." I said sitting beside him. He nodded grabbing his phone out. Its been nice getting to know him better.

I went in before him and heard laughing coming from the living room. "Oh hey Jimin." Hoseok said causing Namjoon and Taehyung to look up at me. I waved moving to sit beside Taehyung. I smiled watching as Hoseok danced around happily. "Why is everyone still awake?" I heard Yoongi say as plopped onto the chair next to Namjoon. I stayed with them for a bit before going up to bed. Its been a nice day honestly. I smiled opening my notebook up to make a list. There is so much I want to do now that I am free. I didnt have a normal life where I can go out to different places. "You look focused." I looked up hearing Yoongis voice. "Im making a list of stuff Ive always wanted to do. Now that I can, I want to try to do evrything on it." I said gesturing for him to come sit down. He took my notebook reading through it.

-Yoongis POV-

There is something about Jimin that makes me feel protective. Hes also pretty endearing. "The Zoo? You havent been to the Zoo?" I said reading over his list. I mentally punched myself for making a comment. Of course he hasnt. "Im sorry." I said causing him to smile alittle. We talked for alittle before I went to get changed. I have to do this tonight. I hope he will understand. He said he was home, he didnt have class today. Its actually been nice with him. But its not what I wanted in the first place. "Hey Hyung." Taekwang said as he opened the door. I smiled leaning in to kiss his cheek. "Somethings wrong. I can tell." He said brushing my hair back. He was honestly super sweet. "We need to talk. I need to talk to you about something. But Im afraid you will hate me." I grabbed his hands giving him a slight smile. "Hyung? Are you unhappy?" He said softly breaking the silence between us.

I looked up at him trying to find the right words. How to respond to that. "I am. But its more than just that. I have loved getting to know you and spending time with you. Its just, Im not really sure if this is what I want. I dont want to hurt you. Its not you, I promise." He smiled alittle as his eyes began to water. I reached forward wiping his tears. "I know its not normal, how we got into this. So, I understand. I care about you Hyung. I have also enjoyed being with you, but if you are unhappy. I wont be selfish, Ill be okay." He said cupping my cheeks. I held him close as he cried. "Im sorry Taekwang." I whispered softly as I cupped his cheek. "D-Dont apologize. I-I understand." He said moving out of my grasp. He wiped his tears before connecting our lips together. I gave him one last hug before heading to my car.

I felt sorry for breaking up with him honestly. He was geniunely kind and funny. I just wish we met under circumstances. The whole thing, regardless of how nice it was. It started out of obligation to our future roles in the Mafia. I wanted to find love on my own time. I want to be happy with the choice I make. I just want a love like my parents. I just want to be happy.
