Bakugou and midoriya are older, bakugou owns a motorcycle and midoriya is in love.
Midoriya was on the back of bakugous bike. It was dark out, the summer night wind whipping through his dark green curls. Bakugou and midoriya didn't wear helmets, it was unsafe but they weren't going anywhere crazy or going fast enough. It was against the law, but no one cared.
Midoriya held onto bakugous waist, face leaning on his shoulder, breathing in his scent. He smelled of vanilla and musk from work.
Midoriya never forgets these night.
They drove under the streetlights, going fast enough that they blur in his peripheral. The shining lights glistening over bakugous smooth black motorcycle that roared beautifully in the silent night.
They got far enough past the streetlights where it was pitch black. The only thing illuminating was the lights off bakugous baby. 'King' was its name.
Midoriya felt the first hit of rain when a droplet hit his face. He looked up and it started to sprinkle, but he could tell it was going to storm. Lighting cracked in the distance. Midoriya didn't have to scream over King because they weren't on the highway near other cars, he talked into bakugous ear. "It's going to storm, we need to find shelter we're too far from the house for now." Midoriya looked into the distance and he knew bakugou also seen the dingy little gas station too.
As the rain drops got fatter bakugou sped up a little more. Midoriya smiles a little. The rain drops falling onto his warm skin cooling him down from the sticky air around them. He caught lighting from the corner of his eye, the beautiful shining streak that made the droplets glisten in the sky.
Bakugou pulled into the gas station, under the roof where the gas pumps sit. Bakugou parked King and got off to look at midoriya, they were perfectly soaked. There were only two cars at the station. One red station wagon near the back and a white BMW. Midoriya giggled, taking bakugous hand in his. "It's such a beautiful night."
Bakugou kept his cool stoic face, holding midoriya next to him. It was such a warm night, the background started to fade from the heavy rain. Midoriya stood up, taking bakugous hand and running from under the shelter. "What the fuck are you doing!?" Midoriya pulled him out into the rain with him.
Midoriya started to dance with bakugou, a half tango and half improvised feet kicks. Bakugou hesitated, but seeing midoriya rosy cheeks and bright smile, his glowing green eyes persuaded him. Bakugous body almost started moving on it's own.
Midoriya and bakugou danced in the rain, their hair becoming sobbing wet, whipping and sticking to their faces. Their clothes clinging to them swaying to the beat of Mother Nature around them. Their shoes making squishing sounds as they bounced around and moved from side to side. Their laughter was all that actually matter, not the way their clothes hugged them uncomfortably, or their shoes swimming in water. Their laughter filled the air with the soothing sound of rain and thunder. The wind and rain smacked against the gas station walls and midoriya laughed louder as bakugou twirled him.
Bakugou would occasionally dip him and spin him and twirl him in his arms. Midoriya was so gorgeous, from the way his smile brighten the whole room, or his laughter that was sweeter song than a morning bird; right down to the scars on his arms and hands. Midoriya took bakugous anger and awkwardness away, he's lives for midoriya, he lives for him. For these moments with him. He hopes hes always by his side.
Always.
Bakugou stopped midoriyas move movements, he held him by the hips and pulled him close. The rain pouring down their faces. Bakugou leaned down and kissed his soft lips. Midoriya kissed back and held bakugous face and smiled into the kiss. They stayed like this for a moment. Midoriya pulled back and stared into bakugous deep red eyes, like fires being ignited. "I love you," Midoriya moved his arms around his neck and bakugou hugged his waist close. Bakugou encouraged midoriya legs around his hips and midoriya did. Wrapping his legs around him and smiling wider. They stayed kissing under the rain, kissing to the sound of sharp wind and lightening.
It was truly a beautiful night.
