"At least this time you aren't sleeping" said Nikan as he opened the door.

It was the next day, I was already ready, dressed in a long pale turquoise dress, with a silver belt hugging my waist representing a branch with one leaf at the each end. The dress was sitting thight on my torso, then flaring right under the waist.

"I see you've already got dressed" he said as he took a seat on one of the armchairs.

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious" I smilled while Helyna was putting some while pearl earrings in my ear.

He, on the other hand, was dressed kind of casual, a black shirt and black pants, his dirty blond hair contrasting with all the back, his sword in the scabbard that was hanging on his right side. I could have recognised that sword out of thousands that where the same, as it was a gift from me for his birthday, when he was recruited to he part of the guards.

When Helyna was done, I thanked her and she left, leaving me and Nikan alone. I sighted "When will he arrive?"

"They left yesterday night, we should probably go downstairs"

I nodded, taking my white gloves from the table right in front of him and putting on my coat with fur to keep me warm.

"You're gonna freeze Nikan. We've been there before" I said, looking at him.

"If it happens, it happens" he said, opening the door "Lady's first"

I laughed and stepped out "You better don't be comming at me after, crying that you're cold" I yelled from the end of the hallway.

"Come on! It wasn't like that!" he ran to catch up with me.

"It totally was like that, you don't wanna admit it cuz you wanna be, brave and feared by everyone" I said making my voice beeper on the last part.

"Then what can I say about that time I caught you crying over a book"

I gasped "In my defence it was a very sad story ok?"

"Whatever you say, your highness"

We both laughed and continued walking.

We've been staying outside for more than thirty minutes, when the sounds of horses feet hitting the ground made us look up. Nikan was still blowing warm air into his palms. "I told you you'd be cold" I told him. All he did was roll his eyes at me and tell me to
stand right and smile.

I did so, because truth to be told, I dont think you'd want to be greeted by a I'm done with your bs kind of princess, that looks at the ground or the surroundings rather than the person in front of her.

The carriage was beautiful, it was black, and the horses as well, it had some gold here and there as details.

We waited till it was right infront of us and the doors opened, the King stepping out and right after him the Prince.

I bowed "King Adgae, we are so pleased to have you here at last" I said as I look at him. He was a pretty tall man, with very dark hair, almost darken than darkness. His eyes where icy blue and seemed as if they could look through your soul.

His son, Prince Gabryel, was just as tall as him, if not a little bit taller, he hand the same hair as his father, but green eyes. He smiled when he saw me looking at him. I smiled back at him.

"Ah, Princess Cenobia, this is my son, Prince Gabryel." he said, putting a hand in Gabryels back, bringing him in front.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Princess" he said.
