We where in front of a dilapidated house, with the walls ready to collapse at any moment and some of the roof missing. It had grown grass on some spots on the roof and there where an incredible about of nests.

"Don't let the outisde trick you, we have to make it seem as if no one is living here so no one suspects anything" she opened the door, revealing about five big mattresses layed over a large rug in the biggest room, and some tables in the so said kitchen who surprisingly was clean. In the rest of the house where some chairs, and a small library that was on the point of collapsing. There where sacks of clothes on each mattress and clean sheets, not so neatly arranged.

"Excuse the mess, they are just out hunting, I expect them to be here by noon." she went to the kitchen, opening the drawer and taking out two cups, purring water from the sink into them then offering them to us.

We took them gently, drinking the water and thanking her.

"The least I can do for now. We'd have to wait till they are back, and we will have to decide if you two will stay. But don't worry about it, the person who firstly met them has priority and their vote counts as fifty percent so I guarantee you guys are gonna stay. Till then you can have a seat near the windows and read. My personal favourites include "The darkest night of the year" and "Moons girl""

I went over to the library, making my lips into a bright smile "This is way bigger than our bookshelf" I tried to sound excited.

I went to the door, "I think I'll go have a walk around, observe the surroundings" I told Saka. She nodded and I went out the door.

I carefully took steps, making sure not too get too close to the trees. As I walked away from the house, I took out my dagger, stopping infront of a large tree with a big tree hollow. I took my hood off, parting my hair into two. I hold my hair with one hand as I took the courage to finally touch my hair with the sharp part of the dagger, moving it in such a way that it started cutting my hair, a smile forming on my face. Once I was done cutting that part, not so neatly as I thought it would be, I shoved it down the tree hollow, so that no one could find it. I moved on to the next part, this time going a lot smoother than last time, cutting way straighter. The hair that once was reaching my waist was now barely brushing my shoulders. Oh how I wait to see Nikans face.

I began walking away from the tree, trying to make my footsteps as smooth as possible, giving the impression that I didn't stop there. I looked around for a little while, trees and even more trees, and then decided to go back, stepping up my pace.

I opened the door, shaking the snow off from my boots at the entrance, talking off my hood just in time as Nikan approached me, his eyes widening at the sight of my hair. I simply smirked at him, heading for a chair in which I would read one of Saka's recommendations.

Just as I sat down, Saka came into the room, throwing herself on one of the mattresses before she and Nikan started chatting. I was absorbed by the story, just so beautifully written, when a loud noise made us flinch, eyeing the door. It opened, reviling a slightly older looking girl, her long auburn hair tied in a low ponitail, letting the pointy ends of her ears peak through. She had two rabbits in her hand, which I suppose she had skinned before comming in, given the fact that they didn't have any fur at all. She looked surprised to see us, her eyes widening. Behind her, another girl, probably my age, her dark curls bouncing as she walked inside, taking a napkin and wiping the blood off her hands real quick. Her white cloak contrasting with her skin pretty nice.

"Saka, come with me" said the first girl, heading for the door again, while the other one came in my direction.

"It feels so good to finally see someone new beside these dumbos" she said, sitting cross-legged on the ground just as Saka got up from the mattress. "I will not ask many questions" she continued "because I know they are probably gonna ask you them as well, but don't be scared. Here we are family" she said, eyeing me and then Nikan.
