It wasn't fair. You were blind. You didn't know how to adapt to the way of the others as they hardly spoke. Sadly, you were forced to work for the quietest family of royalty, the Oaks. You listened to the silence, unknowing where you were. You didn't realize how close to danger you were until you felt your foot above ground and the wind coming from below you. You yelped in shock before shutting your eyes. Something instantly grabbed your arm and everything seemed to stop. You were then slowly pulled up and the ground returned to your feet. You opened your eyes, knowing it wouldn't affect anything.

"Are you ok?" Your heart skipped a beat as the prince of the Oak family, Green, spoke.

"Yes I am, your Majesty."

"How did you not see the cliff?"

"I'm blind, your Majesty. I didn't even realize where I was." You felt his hand touch yours.

"Then follow me. The others noticed your disappearance. You can ride with me." You felt you face warm up a bit.

"Thank you, your Majesty."

The two of you rode back to the kingdom gates and he let you off at the castle before heading to the stables. He refound you trying to make your way to where the others were. He took your hand and led you to where the other servants before heading to his room. The rest of the day, your mind was moving. It was long before night was coming and you were pinned to a wall near your room. A growl filled the air.

"Listen up, little maidling." The best knight of the kingdom, Blue spoke. "Your getting very close to a certain someone, don't you think?"

"Lady Blue, I mean no-" Her sword tapped your neck, sending a bad memory through your head.

"Listen here-"

"Lady Blue! Prince Green wishes your attendance!" The prince's apprentice, Yellow, said somewhere to your left. A huff escaped Blue. 

"You're lucky this time, Maidling. But watch where you step before the line comes." Her footsteps came and went with ease. A gentle pair a hands touched your shoulders.

"Are you ok?"

"Yes... thank you..."

"That's from Prince Green. He wishes you good night and to stay wary of Lady Blue." 

"Thank you, Miss Yellow." You quickly curtsy before entering your room. And loud sound came from somewhere, no doubt Blue getting mad. You sigh before going to bed.
