You huffed as Green defeated another opponent. This was supposed to be his early leave day, but he was forced to work late due to the number of trainers that had signed up. No matter what you did, he wouldn't listen and said he would work late, much to your despair.

"Greenie!" You called out. He hardly took notice as he cleared through another trainer. You frown as he sat down for a break. An idea appeared in you head as you slid over. "Don't you think you should go home and rest?"

"I told you, (Y/N), I have to work late."

"But this is supposed to be your early leave." You said, trying hard for him to take your words. "Besides... don't you have better things to do than just doing the same battles over and over."

Green's POV (Temp)

Oh no she wasn't. I easily saw (Y/N)'s goal as she messaged my shoulders. I knew her ways. She was picky about much. She typically only asked for small gifts for special things. She was easy to make happy. But this seemed to show another side to her. My eyes drifted to the door. I could see the end of the line. 5 more trainers. I had to keep her quiet until they were done.

"Hey (Y/N)?"

"Hey (Y/N)?" That grabbed your attention.

"Yes Greenie?" He stood up and his lips collided with yours. You were stunned by his action as he pulled away.

"If you leave me alone until after these last 5 battles, I'll give you a little treat when we leave." Your eyes lit up.

"Ok!" You sat down as he went to his spot on the battlefield. While you knew the outcome of the battles, you were interested to see what else the gym leader had up his sleeve.
