When I got there I saw Rylies standing outside the doors waiting for me. He always got here before I did. I got out the car and sauntered up the stairs to where Rylie was at. I waved at him earning a few weird looks from the people around me.
They all backed away as I walked up to Rylie. He greeted me with a small smile showing off his cute dimples.
"Good morning Gi, How was your night?" He asked.
"Hmm the same, nothing new," I said, starting to walk into the school, "What about you Ry?"
"Umm nothing unusual, just went home and slept," he stated following closely behind me, observing the people who moved out of our way as we walked down the halls.
"Your parents still ignoring you?" I asked. His parents were horrible people. When he turned 14 they started ignoring him and treating him like a nobody.
"Yup, didn't expect anything to change," He said holding his stuff lose to his chest as we walked into the library. I headed straight for the back where we usually hang out at. We sat down and talked and laughed until the bell for first block started ringing.
We both got up heading separate ways to our respective classes. The day went by as usual. Go to first block, get ignored. Go to second block, get ignored. Go to lunch, hang out with Rylie. Go to Library, hang out with Rylie. Go to fourth block, get ignored. And finally, leave and go home.
But tonight was different. Tonight was the night of a huge part being thrown by one of my classmates. It was also the night me and Rylie decided to step out of our comfort zone and try to make friends. Me and Rylie were gonna go to that party.
