I woke up the next day with a groan, my head was pounding and the light was shining directly in my eyes. I rolled over and shoved my head in my pillow trying to block out the light.
I tried to go back to sleep but then i felt a presence beside me. It was Rylie.
He was curled up on the other side of my bed watching my every move.
"Jeez! How long have you been there?" I said glancing at my clock to see what time it was.
"I've been here all night, you got shit faced last night and I wanted to make sure you were safe," He said rolling only his back.
"Hey what's that sound?" he asked looking at my door. That's when I heard it, my mom crying. I walked to the door putting my ear close to it to hear what was going on.
"My baby, he can't be dead! No I can't lose him too!" my mom sobbed from downstairs. Confused, I walked down the stairs and entered the living room. My mom was on the couch sobbing, there were 3 police officers standing in the room too.
