Besides fainting in chemistry class I had a pretty uneventful day. The school called my mom, she was worried sick and blew off work to come pick me up. I was totally fine but my mom is not the type of person that would brush off the fact that I fainted. I managed to convince her that I don't need to go to the doctor. My mom went back to work so I was home alone for the rest of the day.
...

I can't believe Flo dragged me to this party, I know I said this six times already today but I am not in the mood.

The second we walk in, Florence automatically scans the room looking for Greg. He's in the same spot he's normally in, the kitchen by the fridge, next to him is Rowley. My heart sinks and before I can say anything my so-called best friend is dragging me towards my ex boyfriend.

"Cath! You shouldn't be here I heard you fainted today. C'mon I'm taking you home."

"I'm perfectly capable of making my own decisions Rowley! You're not my boyfriend anymore you can't tell me what to do"

"Get your stuff we're leaving"

Rowley grabs my arm when suddenly I hear:

"She told you that she wants to stay"

It's Guy, I can feel him standing right behind me. His arms brush up against my waist and I feel a sense of security.

Unexpectedly, I heard Greg say "Ok enough of this shit! She's not either of you guys' property Both of you get out"

I'm not the biggest fan of Greg after all he's done to Flo but he's a good guy deep down.

Rowley stormed off slightly pissed at his best friend but turned around to says:

"Don't call me, don't come by my house, we're done."

"God he can be such an ass sometimes. We've been friends since day one, I love the guy but jeez he drives me insane. You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for doing that by the way"

"It's no problem really."

A couple hours later Flo and Greg were reconnecting on the couch if you know what I mean. Honestly I was shocked it took so long this time. She probably felt bad for me so she stuck around.

Every thing was just a little to much so I made my way to the porch to get some air but then I saw a familiar face.

"Greg told you to leave"

"I wanted to apologize, I didn't mean to make a scene" Guy answered.

He was visibly upset, I could tell he was crying. I would be fine with it if he wasn't an ugly crier. He looks pretty stupid right now.

"It's just that I don't know anyone here. I just moved here and things have been hard. I thought that by coming here I could apologize and we could be friends."

He flirtatiously winked at me when he said friends. If he keeps doing this he's gonna make me act up.

"The sun's about to come up. You wanna sit on the roof with me?"

He nods and we climb up. I take out the blanket that Rodrick hides under a tile. The reason why I know this is because Rodrick told me I could borrow the roof for make out sessions. I'm pretty sure he meant between me and him but I seriously doubt that's going to happen.

We settle down quietly, it's quiet but not awkward. It's pretty perfect.

Get ready for the next chapter cuz it's a doozy hahahaaha
