Eanid POV

As I feel my senses come back to me, I smell food. Good food. I hear voices.

"Do you think she will wake up?" said a young voice.

"She has a pulse, so she's definitely alive." replied a much more older man.

I jump up, to see that I'm at a campsite. I rush away from the voices, but they know better.

"Hey! Stop!" said the young boy.

"Don't shout James, you're scaring her!" The old man said.

"I'm sorry," the boy, who was apparently called James, made his way towards me.

"Stay back!" I yell.

"It's ok, we are not going to hurt you." He said firmly, as if he was really desperate for me to trust him.

"Who are you people?" I shout at him.

"I'm Stuart, and that is James," spoke up the old man.

"What are you going to do with me?" I say scared.

"We are going to take you into the city, to get help, since you look in really bad shape." Stuart said.

"I'm not going anywhere!" I yell.

"You have to trust us, you look really hurt." reasoned James.

I look at myself. It's so much clearer in the daylight than in that dark cell room. Then it hit me, I'm free! I escaped Ironfist! After realizing this, I figured I really needed some water. Since Ironfist never actually delivered the food on my last night, I was starving.

"Do you have food?" I ask.

"Yes, but you shall not eat, child, it looks as if you haven't eaten for months." Stuart reasoned.

"But if I haven't eaten in months, then I'm freaking starving!" I say.

"If you eat meat and if you gobble loads of food up, then it will only come back up." He reasoned once more.

"But I'm really hungry!" I argued.

"You can eat soup, that's it." He stated.

"Ugh fine!" I whined.

"Good now eat," he said.

Stuart passed me a bowl of soup. It was brownish red. It smelled so good!

"Yummy!" I say.

I gobbled up all the soup, and I craved more.

"Please give me more?" I begged.

"No, not too much, now drink," said Stuart.

He passed me a bowl of water, and just as he gave it to me I drank it down really quick. I groaned, give me more! Please?

"Can I have more water?" I asked.

"No you can have some when we get on the road," Stuart said.

I groan. I notice the boy James, this time in a different way. He has amber eyes, curly brown hair, and dimples. Cute! No, I can't trust them yet, I've only just met them. And after what Ironfist did to me I can't trust anyone.

"I'm not going anywhere," I say firmly.

"Look child, if you want to be safe from whoever is hurting you, then you should come with us," Stuart said.

"How would you know if someone was hurting me?" I snap.

"Because you can be that clumsy to fall over all the time and get hurt that badly," he stated.

"No!" I shout.

"If you want to get better you should come with us," he said.

I stood there and thought for a moment.

"Where would we go if I went with you?" I asked.

"Into the city, as I already said," he said.

"What would I do if I was is this city?" I questioned him.

"We would take you to the leaders, so you can explain what happened to you," he explained.

"No way am I doing that!" I argue.

"You should," he reasoned.

I thought for a while. They were pretty nice people, they had food, water and were very good at making hidden campsites. If they were working with Ironfist, they wouldn't be this nice for sure.

I decided I should go with them. How little did I know this was only the beginning of my journey.
