Edited to the best of my ability.

No song for this chapter unfortunately. There isn't a song that I could think of that fit the chapter.

The room was eerie silent for moments.

"I see that you two have some catching up to do." I swallowed.

"Crystal wait-"

"Stefan I will see you later." I pulled away, "Can Wayne drop me off?"

"Of course," He nodded I could tell he had more words but he knew what was best.

"Congrats Jessica." I had felt bad for intruding on them and more so stupid than ever. Had I known that that's what she had came with I would've stayed my ass in the room.

"Oh now the bitch wants to be nice and professional. " See? I tried.

"You're going to need someone to be nice to you during times like these," I shrugged, "You're the one claiming to be pregnant by a man who has no interest in you, but go off."

That shut her up. I went upstairs, changed and gathered the rest of my things. I went back downstairs where Stefan waited for me with worry on his face and Jessica with a smirk. She was proud, I'm pretty sure she only expected to ruin one person's night but felt high and mighty for killing two birds with one stone.

"Wayne, please get Crystal home safely." He ordered.

"I will call you." He assured, and I almost told him he didn't have to but I wasn't going to make this about me, because it wasn't. I nodded and let Wayne escort me to the garage.

On the way home all I could think to myself was , what a night? I got manhandled, damn near mob-style traumatized, and I discovered the guy that I was fucking got a girl pregnant. Surprisingly I wasn't going bat shit crazy, I honestly just wanted to sleep.

We'd finally made it to my apartment complex, I thanked Wayne before stepping out of the car.

" I usually mind the business that pays me Miss Smith, but that girl is trouble." He warned.

"More reason for me to stay out the way, and more reason for you to mind the business that pays you" I sent a tight lipped smile. "Get home safely." I said before he could try to convince me of anything else.

He nodded, "Goodnight Miss Smith."

Once inside of my humble abode I plopped on the bed, exhausted. My head was slightly spinning and I needed sleep. I wasn't mad, disappointed was the word. I wanted to hear what Stefan had to say but if we were going to be honest with ourselves; he didn't nor does he owe me an explanation. He had bigger fish to fry and I couldn't- no, I wouldn't allow myself to get caught up in him.

I woke up to loud banging on my front door.

"What the hell?" I groaned as I stretched out of bed. I swear whoever was at the door was going to feel my wrath.

"Who the fuck is it?" I called.

"Your sister! Now open the door!" Melanie shouted back.

"Melanie why the hell are you beating on my door like the police!" I complained.

"I've been calling and knocking at that door for ten minutes! Good afternoon how are you stank breath!" She barged in

"What time is it?" I asked confused.

"1:30, anyways since you're not going to say anything or offer it! You are in charge of planning my baby shower, you got some juice?" She asked plopping down on my couch and turning the t.v. on.
