Now on with the reading!

While Stefan checked out Club Exotic, I worked through the list he provided me with. I had did so much talking, I was exhausted and slightly irritated I had worked for over five hours trying to find the best of the best to get the job done and I'd finally negotiated one company down.

I was surprised I could even think straight after lunch with Stefan. His words echoed in my mind,

Any man who comes across you and not do whatever they can to keep you is not a man and is dumb as hell.

Where was that even coming from? I mean surely he wasn't making a pass at me. Was he?

I needed a drink, and although this suite was the nicest thing I had ever been in I had been in here way too long. I'd already talked Ty and Melanie's heads off.

I know Stefan said that we were here for business only but my side of business was done, So I decided to go down to the bar for a drink or two. Once down I ordered a margarita on the rocks, I wondered how long Stefan would be it was about to be six o'clock. Not that I was waiting up for him or anything.

"Is this seat taken." A handsome dark skinned male interrupted my thoughts, I openly eyed him down.

The energy in Miami had me feeling frisky.

"I have a feeling that it's about to be." I smile at the handsome man, in my attempt at flirting.

"I'm Ray," The man offered his hand for me to shake introducing himself.

I took his hand, "I'm Rachel." I lied.

"Nice to meet you Rachel," He smiled showing off his perfect white teeth. I took all of him in,

He had on a royal blue and white short sleeve collared shirt, with vertical stripes, and white ripped jeans. His hair curly and freshly cut into a top fade, connected to a full beard beard, that screamed 'sit on my face'.

"Likewise." I flirted and just in time the bartender blessed me with my drink, I took a sip as I looked at Ray he was pretty to look at.

He let out a cute chuckle and asked, "So what brings you to Miami?"

"What makes you think I'm not from Miami?" I raised a brow.

"Are you?" He asked raising his brow.

"No," I laughed, "I'm here on business, what brings you?"

"Business, I would have thought you were here with a significant other." He probed.

"If you wanted to know if I had a boyfriend you could've just asked." I said taking another sip of my drink.

He stroked his beard, "You right, I could've but I didn't want to seem too forward."

"Being forward is sitting next to someone you don't know and there are plenty of empty seats available." I pointed out.

"Dang, you gone give me hard time?" He joked, causing me to laugh.

"I'll take a whiskey please." He ordered.

Halfway through my drink and we had definitely gotten acquainted with one another. He seemed as good of a person as he looked. I discovered he was a talent manger and was out in Miami looking for new talent.
