Summary:

Ricky and Nini have a Christmas Baby!

Sorry if this is short! I've done so many pregnancy oneshots that I don't know what new things to put in them anymore! 😂😂

Ricky's POV

"One last push" the nurse told my wife.

"AHHHHH!" Nini screamed before we heard screams filling the room.

"We did it baby! We had our baby!" I smiled at her.

"Richard Michael Alexander Bowen, if you say that we did it one more time I will murder you and eat you for dinner. I did it, got it?" She said, harshly "Now, repeat that sentence"

"You did it baby! You had our baby!"

"Thank you" she smiled.

"Meet your little baby girl" the midwife came over and handed our baby to Nini.

"Aw" she looked at the child "That's our baby"

"That is! We have a child! We are parents!" I smiled.

"What should we name her?" My wife asked me as she gave me the baby

"What about a Christmas name? Since she was born on Christmas day?" I suggested.

"Sounds good! What about Angel? Angels are Christmas themed, right?" She looked up at me.

"Meh... What about Carol? Christmas carols and your Momma C!" I smiled.

"No. I don't really want to name my daughter's first name after one of my mom's first names. Maybe Carol could be a middle name though?" She pointed out.

"Sure, what should the first name be then?" I asked.

"I went into labour on Christmas Eve. Eve is a nice name?"

"I don't know... Was Eve not the name of the bully in kindergarten?" I reminded her.

"Oh yeah..." She realized "Then what about Noella? It's close to Noel which means Christmas or something to do with Christmas"

"Never been a big fan of the name" I told her "What about Winter?"

"I am not and refuse to name my daughter after a season" she said.

"Ok. Understood" I nodded.

Then we both had a great idea "Holly!" We both exclaimed at the same time.

"Yes! That's amazing! Holly Carol Lynne Bowen" Nini smiled.

"Lynne? What? Why are we saying Lynne?" I asked.

"We can't have one of my parents and not one of yours!" She reasoned.

"No! Nini, I don't want to name my daughter after my mom who hates me for hating her new husband!" I told her.

"Ricky, think about this now..." She said while I passed the baby back to her.

I looked out the window to think "Nini, it's snowing"

"So?" She looked at me confused.

"What about Snow as a middle name?"

"You do realize that this is our daughter that we are talking about and not a Disney Princess?" She looked horrified

"Nini, it's not that bad!" I reasoned.

"Ricky, it's awful. Then the whole name sounds like you're saying 'Holy Carol! There's no Bowen!' really lazily" she pointed out.

I muttered the words 'Holly Carol Snow Bowen' and it did "You're right"

"So, what other names?" She asked.

"What about a non Christmas themed one? Just because she was born at Christmas doesn't mean that she has to be called all Christmas names" I reasoned.

"Sure! What about Lyla?" She suggested "I always liked that name"

"Not really... What about Lily?" I smiled.

"I have it! If you don't want Lynne what about Lana? A mixture of Lynne and Dana!" She got excited.

"Ok, so our daughter, Holly Carol Lana Bowen?"

"Lana Carol Holly Bowen" she corrected "It's nicer and suits better"

We looked down at our daughter "Welcome to the world baby Lana" we both smiled.
