"Little Pottah and his Grifindorks have not only saved the day, but aparently Pottah is on the Quidditch team," Draco sneered. "Is that allowed?" I ask. "The made a special exception for the chosen one," he replied moaning. "Potter is so special isn't he," I sneered. Draco looked pleased I was acting more like a Slytherin. "We ought to visit them tomorrow and see what's it all about," I said. Draco smiled in agreement (time skip to quidditch match) "He's not that good," Draco groaned. "That's good for us," I said. "Hm I suppose it is,". "Snape, SNAPE," I yell. "What Son, I'm trying to focus here," Snape replied. "IT'S ON FIRE," I yell back. Noticing he stops looking at the game and pulled out his wand. With the fire extinguished, we could relax again. Not for long however, "He's doing it," I said in awe. Harry Potter just improved in the last 5 minutes. "Bloody hell Draco, you have a tough component," I said. Draco looked mad once again
.
(Time skip) Christmas break is near. This will be the perfect time to ask my Mom more about dad. Draco is bullying Harry Potter about staying at Hogwarts. I swear it's like he's got a crush on him. I keep trying to stop him, but I know he knows I don't actually mind it. "Well see ya after break, you bafoons," I yell out to the clown show trio. "Bye y/n," Goyle yelled out. That's the first time he's ever said anything to me. The train ride back was awkward. All the seats in Slytherin part of the train was full. The trio wasn't even here. I had no one to sit next to, well except Tom. I looked at Tom and he nodded slightly. I sat next to him for good 5 minutes the whole coach was silent. Then Hermione came in. She sat right next to me. "Hi Hermoine," I yelped. "Your looking much better," she said happily. "Potter's foot can't hold me down for to long can't he,". We laughed. We both had parents from the muggle world, but she had two. I didn't know that was possible. Her parents were dentists. My mom's a lawyer. We giggled when another wizard asked what a lawyer and dentist were. "We don't know much about the Wizarding World, but we do know a lot about muggles," I laughed. She sighed in agreement. Every now and then Tom would snicker with us. He too understood what we were saying, but didn't speak up. Tom's parent's picked us up. It was awkward car ride to my house. Even Mr and Mrs. Payne were confused. To be honest so was I. Surely with knowing each other for so long he'd try to be friendly. "Why haven't you been talking to me?". He stayed silent. "Why have you been ignoring me since the school year has started? What happened to being friends forever? I even got hurt for you and you didn't even come visit me in the infirmary. What is it?" I questioned him. "You're a Slytherin May and your friends with Draco Malfoy," he bursted out. "So what, you're willing to throw away years of friendship, because we were not sorted into the same house," I yelled back. "Draco Malfoy son on Lucious Malfoy, do you know what he did? Do you know what Slytherin's did?" He questioned. "No," I yelled. "There bloody traitors, they worked for,". "Enough," Mr. Payne yelled. "I'll have a talk with you Tom Henfry Payne. May Son it's amazing you are in Slytherin. Just like your father. Slytherin have got a stereotype amongst the years," he replied calmly.
When I got to my house Tom apologized, "Look, I'm sorry,". Sorry for what I think. Is he sory for not visiting me, for stereotyping me, for avoiding me, or for being a bad friend. "MOM!!!" I yelled. She runs down stairs and I smile. Seeing my mom has been the highlight of today. (Time Skip to Christmas) I open my presents. "I saved this one for last," she said. I start opening them. A slytherin ring, tie pin, and 2 photos. One of dad during his wedding and the other with who I assume is Lucious when they were students. "I wasn't sure when to give this to you. I didn't even want to tell you your dad was a Slytherin, just incase if you didn't make it in. I know you'd want to have that connection with him and now you do," she said. I smiled. "Thanks Mom, this is the best. I'm actually friends with Draco, Lucious's son," I replied. "Lucious Malfoy? Did you know him and I almost never became friends. The Malfoy's Pride themselves in only having pure Wizarding blood in them. Lucious being Dad's closest friend was invited to be our best man.  At first he didn't want to, because he didn't aprove, but Lucious would do anything for your Dad," she said. I wonder if Draco could be like that. Hopefully he isn't. I haven't even told him about my parents at all. I don't think it's even important.
