(Me living my fantasy with Cedric Diggory; this is supposed to be awkward it's puppy love and based on my current relationship kind of)

Cedric smelled like honey and morning dew. His embrace felt like a warm coffee on a cold day. His smile was like an arrow to your heart. Everything about him seemed so perfect. Everyday he would remind me how beautiful I was. Christmas break I went home and updated my mom on all the news. "A boyfriend y/n Amberson! What about the cute girl you were telling me about?" She asked. "It's so obvious she has feelings for Ron Weasley," I replied. "Look here's a picture of him," I handed her a wizard photograph. "He's moving," she gasped. "Isn't he cute," I responded. "He seems a bit old," she added. "Only a two year difference Mom you have nothing to worry about. He's literally one of the nicest guys I have ever met," I said. "I can't wait to meet him," she said. I went on and on about all the stuff that's been happening. She was extremely worried about the Dementors and Black. She was relieved when I told her I was talented in Defense Against the Black arts and having a boyfriend to protect me. I don't need to be protected. I am the protector. A blast of floo powder came from the chimney. "Cedric, I thought you were coming regularly," I said. "I ran into some troubles trying to read the map," he confessed. "It's so nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you," Mom said shaking his arm. He smiled, "She talks about me?". "So much, he's cute, he's nice, he's perfect,". "Mom that 's enough, Cedric doesn't need to hear any of this," I butted in before she could embarrass me more. I grabbed Cedric's arm and made a dash for the door. "Hold on Missy. This is your first date with your first boyfriend," she said, taking out a camera. Cedric smiled widely and I awkwardly smiled. Walking out of the door he looked around. "The car should be coming soon," he said. "What car?" I asked. "Let's walk until it comes," he said, ignoring my question. "Sorry about my mom. She's just really excited for me," I said. "I find it cute. I'm your first boyfriend? I thought you and Draco dated for a while," he said. "Never," I replied gasping. "What about that Malfoy necklace?" He asked. "It's a friendship necklace," I answered. He laughed. "Of course Draco would be the one," he sneered. "Are you jealous?" I joked. "Yes," he answered. I looked shocked he took it for real. "I like you, a lot Amberson," he stared at my eyes. My eyes drooped down. "Look at me," he asked politely. As I turned my face he stole a kiss from me again. "You've got to stop surprising me," I said. "Do you not like it? I can stop," he said worried. "No, it's just what if someone sees," I said. "Who?" He said looking around. "We've barely left my mom's and Tom's house is right there," I pointed. "Oh, the cars here," he smiled again. "Are you driving?" I asked. "Yes, but no," he answered. "You're only 15 how are you going to drive?" I nagged. "I'm not driving, the car is," he answered. It was a cab that drove itself. The red seating reminded me of the Grifindor dorms. Cedric grabbed my left hand and rested his head on my laps. I played with his hair with my right hand. "You're beautiful y/n" he muttered before closing his eyes. "I know you're not sleeping," I smiled. This time I will kiss him. I was too shy to kiss him on the lips like he did with me, so I kissed him on his forehead. "I don't like you anymore," he said. "Why," I said hurt. "Did I do something?" I asked. My face drooped down to a frown. He sat up and smiled. "I love you," he said. I hugged him. "What do you know about love? You're only 15," I smiled. "I'm just a simple 15 year old in love," he said smiling while going back on my thighs. "I love you, Cedric Digorry. You filled something inside of me, that I didn't know was missing," I confessed. "What would you know about love? You're just a 13 year old, younger than me," he said smiling. I smiled back. "Using my words against me, when I'm confessing my love to you," I joked. "This is why you love me," he answered. We stopped at a restaurant near Big Ben. "The Muggle world is so exciting," he said looking around. "What do you fancy, besides me?" He joked.  Looking on the menu, I searched for vegetarian options. "Oh my god, they have ravioli. I haven't had that in so long," I exclaimed. The waiter came over, "What would you like?"  "I'll have your steak and she'll have ravioli," Cedric answered. "Anything to drink," Waiter added. "Yes two lemonades," he answered. Throughout lunch he talked about Quidditch, his dad, games he's watched, and spells he's learned. "God your dad sounds like an amazing person," I added. "He is," he sighed. "What's wrong," I asked him. "Well that's just it, I want to impress him, make him proud," he answered. "I'm positively sure you do," I added. "Yeah, but he's so great I'm not sure if he's just saying it, because he's my dad or if he means it," he said. "He means it. You're the smartest, genuine, kindest person I've ever met," I said. "Well of course you think that, you're my girlfriend," he answered. "Who do you mistake me for?" I asked. "Are you not?" He said, confused. "Yes I am, but I would never blindly follow a man. I will tell you when you messed up and when you did great," I answered him. "That's what I love about you y/n," he said, grabbing my arm. I never knew deep down the man I admired for his confidence, was so fragile on the inside. Holding it all in for the fear of disappointing his father, does he not understand how proud he should be. His son the Quidditch captain, perfect student, and good looking. If he's not impressed by that what would he be impressed by. After lunch Cedric played again. I really didn't like him spending all his money on me. "Let me buy you something," I asked. "No, I couldn't," he answered. "Please, for my dignity," I added. "Ok fine," he sighed. "Remember when I first bought you that scarf and you thought it was a towel to wipe your swear on," I said pointing at the scarf. "No, never. I knew it was a scarf, look how beautiful it is," he said touching the fabric. "Here let's buy something matching," I answered him. "A ring," he chimed. "No, not a ring. My father told me there's something magical about a ring. Ties the soul together and never lets them go, even when they are so far." I answered. "That's great," he smiled. "I only want to wear a ring, with the person I plan to marry," I said. He looked disappointed. "What about a bracelet?" I asked. "One with hearts on it, so it doesn't look like a friendship one," he answered pouting. "Cedric, you honestly can't be upset, we haven't even been dating for a year yet. You can't possibly want to marry me, we're only teenagers," I added. "But I do, I'm older y/n.   I would know more about love, when you become 15 you'll know" he said. I blushed again as we walked into the jewelry store. This fool is trying to marry me. Did he forget how you are? What does he mean when I'm 15? That's a little over than a year from now, I can't just learn love in less than two years. We looked at all the jewelry. Cedric really liked silver and how shiny it was. "We'll actually be needing this," I told him. "Why," he asked. "Werewolves," I said. He looked puzzled. I can't possibly be the only one who's figured this out. Of Course the teachers know. They have to know. "This is perfect," I said pointing at a silver bracelet. "We can customize the name," the shopkeeper said. "Yes please one with Digorry on it and the other withAmberson," I asked him. "Why are we labeling ourselves," he asked. "I take your last name and you take mine," I answered him. He smiled. The bracelet were silver chains, with little heart charms that each were engraved with a letter. "For a fellow wizard, 50 pounds," he said. "Thank you, how do you know I'm a wizard?" I asked. "You and your boyfriend are both wearing Hogwarts color, a unique combination of course," he answered. Being a slytherin and hufflepuff honestly can't be that different. "He is true, you're the weirdest Slytherin I've ever met," Cedric added. "You're kind, giving, and not a pureblood," he said. "I know, I was surprised myself, but the sorting hat is never wrong," I told him. He nodded and played with his bracelet. I had mine on my left hand and he had his on his right, the hands of which we hold our hands together. Walking through the allies was exiting. We stumbled across a stray cat. I gave him a little treat, I ran for. I ran all the way back to the cornershop to get it. Cedric was laughing while sitting there petting the cat. "I think the sorting hat did make a mistake, a shame you're not a hufflepuff," he said. "I have more surprises up my sleeve, you'll have to wait for," I told him. He shouldn't underestimate me. I am powerful and determined. "Is that," Cedric said. "Can't be," I answered. "What was he doing here," Cedric asked. "He lives in Wiltshire, why is he all the way here in London," I said confused. Draco and Narsica were strolling along the streets. "Makes sense his dad's not here, he'd go nuts with all the muggles," Cedric said laughing. "Shhh, were about to walk past them," I said. "Amberson, is that you," Narsica said. "Yes, y/n Amberson," I said holding out my right hand, with my left locked in Cedrics. "You're father and I, great friends. Your mother is a doll too, hasn't mailed me in a while," she said. "I didn't know you knew my mother," I said. "I was their best man's girlfriend," she laughed. "This is Cedric, he goes to Hogwarts," I said. "Hello Mam, it's nice to meet you," he said. "You must be friends with Draco as well. I've heard so much about y/n and nothing about her boyfriend," she said looking at Draco. "Nice to see you Amberson," Draco said. "Likewise," I said smiling awkwardly. She had much to say about my dad. It was nice hearing him from another perspective. We walked away and Cedric was looking upset. "What's wrong Cedric," I asked. "Nothing," he said. "Am I someone you need to hide stuff from," I said looking into his eyes. "It's just Draco talking about you and I'm your boyfriend, not him. His parents also know you're parents. Seems like you were a match made in heaven," he said. "There's no need to be jealous, Draco doesn't fit the requirements," I said. "There's requirements," I said. "Well for one thing, he isn't as handsome as you," I said reaching up. This time I kissed him on the cheek. "I would never do that to him, for a second thing," I said. Cedric smiled and shook his head in disbelief. Cedric is 15. Isn't he supposed to be mature, why is he so emotional. "Your 14th birthday is coming up," he said. "Less than a week," I added. "I'm surprised your mom is letting me stay over," he added. "I am too. She is putting tape on our doors," I said. "What's the point of that," he asked. "We can get out, but if we do at least one of the tapes will not go back the same," I said. "That's brilliant," he said. I giggled. What a fool? "One more year, after that, you'll know what it's like being a 15 year old in love," he said. "You'll be 17 moving on from me," I said pouting. "Never," he yelled. "What are you doing?" I said pulling him in. "I promise to never leave you," he yelled again. "It's time to go home, you fool," I said smiling. "You love me," he reminded me. The week goes by. Everynight that piece of tape. He's sleeping in my dad's old room. My mom no longer sleeps there, since his death. The rooms were right next to each other. We talked to each other until we slept through a magic mirror he brought with him. The day of my December 31st. The day before my birthday we stayed up. "I will allow you to have your first kiss tonight, being New Years," my mom said. Cedric looked up and grinned at me, "This won't be her first," he teased. "Y/n Amberson," she gasped. "It wasn't my fault, he snuck up onto me," I said, shocked. "You love birds, remind me when I was young," she said. "Mom please," I said implying so she doesn't tell her story. She pulled Cedric out of the chair. "You're father danced with me like this. This was our first dance and our last dance together," she said dancing with Cedric. She pulled me up and placed me in Cedric's arms. "Yes like this," she said leading Cedric. She played music on the radio and watched from the distance. "You've got two left feet," Cedric chuckled. "Look at you," I said giggling. "I hope we're not interrupting anything," Tom said with his family at the door. "You've invited the Payne family?" I asked my mom. "You've invited Cedric," Tom added. "Yes I have," my mom said. Mr and Mrs Payne joined our dance. Tom danced with my mom, which was a funny sight to see. I sat down next to Cedric. "More stressful than playing a game against you," he laughed. "Against me, why?" I asked. "You're amazing," he said. "Slytherin is giving us a run for our money," Tom added. We all had tea outside. The fireflies danced around and Mr.Payne shot fireworks outside his wand. "Is everybody ready?" My mom yelled out. "5,4,3,2,1, Happy New Year," we all yelled. With the exception of Cedric, he dove right in for a kiss. He placed his arm around my thigh and leaned down. I placed my hand on his face. This was a real kiss, all the other ones were just pecks compared to this. "Happy Birthday love," he said. We all sat in the living room to enjoy some cake. "Here you go," Tom said. He handed me a silver charm. I placed it onto our friendship bracelets. "Thank you Tom, you have a real eye for jewelry," I thanked him. "Y/n Amberson, this is something really special," my mom said. I opened the box. "Mom, what is this," I asked. "You're father's journal of recipes," she said. "Mom you can't be giving this to me," I said crying. "Wrong person to give to have you seen her baking?" Tom joked. "This is great mom," I said, wiping my tears. Cedric rubbed his arm around my shoulder for comfort. "This isn't too sentimental, but here's a scarf," he said. "Are you sure it's not a towel?" I joked. "Y/n, I didn't raise you to be ungrateful did I," Mom scolded. "It's not like Mrs.Amberson. The first gift
Y/n gave to me was a scarf, which I mistook for a towel after a quidditch game," he laughed. Mom sighed. "That's hilarious," Tom laughed. Before Cedric left we went to the roof. I rested my head on his arm. "That's the Aries constellation. That's what I am," I told him. "I'm a Libra," he said. "We're compatible then," I said looking at him. He looked into my eyes and rubbed his nose into mine. I giggled and looked back up. "You're a silly boy," I told him. "I can hear my dad," he said. He kissed my forehead and dropped down to the first floor. "I've got you," he said. I jumped and he caught me in his arms. We repeated this as I lived in a two story house. "One more," he said. He kissed me on the nose this time. "You've kissed me so much and I've only kissed you twice," I told him. "Well you have to catch up," he joked. He left me and the rest of the winter break was me attempting at making my dad's lemon tarts.
