Fiora’s breath was shallow and her whole body was tingling. “Please what?” Rafael had whispered but she couldn’t answer. Her thoughts were fuzzy and all she could think about was Rafael’s lips hovering so close to hers.

“Tell me what you want.” He breathed seductively.

Fiora closed her eyes unable to fight anymore, unable to hold herself back.

“Kiss me.” She breathed.

In an instant Rafael was upon her, his lips crushing over hers with need. He claimed her mouth forcefully and his hands snaked around her slim waist. Fire coursed through Fiora’s veins and she instantly matched his need and ferocity.

She brought her hands up and threw them around his neck pulling him closer to her. She wanted to be closer to him, there was still too much distance.

As if he had read her mind Rafael pulled her against him and continued his assault upon her lips. Ever so slowly he ran his tongue along her bottom lip begging for entrance.

A shiver coursed through her body and she willingly parted her lips. The passion intensified and slowly Rafael eased her backwards onto the silk pillows kissing her all the while. He broke away for a moment hovering over her, eyes smoldering. Fiora was breathing hard and was desperate to have his lips upon hers again.

He bent his head whispering in her ear “Fiora” She felt a tingling in the pit of her stomach. He kissed ear “Fiora...” another kiss on the side of her jaw. “Fiora” His hot kisses trailed down her neck.

Each kiss scorched her skin, making her gasp in delight. “Rafae-” She began to gasp his name but Rafael quickly recaptured her lips. His hands roamed all over her body through her thin gown and it was driving her crazy.

Rafael pulled away from her looking down at her once more. His eyes were full of passion and he was breathing hard. Fiora reached out a hand and placed it gently upon his rough strong jaw. He closed his eyes at her touch and his breathing slowed.  He heaved a heavy sigh and stood up from the bed.

Confused Fiora outstretched her hand wanting him to join her once more. He watched as her hand dropped to her side, turned around and calmly walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

Fiora was hit square in the chest by his rejection. Her body still hummed pleasantly but felt incomplete none the less. She stared at the door as tears welled in her eyes. Bitterly she threw herself onto the bed weeping out of frustration.
