Chapter 40: "Oh, damn!"

Namjoon and Jimin were sat on the edge of the bed.

It had become apparent that management had seen them sneak out last time and they were under strict instructions not to do it again. But the need to see the girls was so strong. After all this potentially could be the last.

The girls approached the room trying to be a quiet as possible. They knocked lightly but were shocked when a tired and dishevelled looking Jungkook answered the door.

"Where's Namjoon and Jimin?" Amanda asked confused.

"Management changed rooms, no sneaking," he said in broken mumbled English.

"Go to sleep Jungkook," Becky said shutting the door slowly as he nodded and turned towards the bed.

"What are we going to do now?" Amanda said as they leant against the wall on the floor.

The phones had been removed by management so they could get some rest so they couldn't even message them.

It was nice that management were thinking of the boys but they didn't understand the connection they had with the group.

This holiday had made them all grow closer, not just as friends but Namjoon, Becky, Amanda and Jimin shared a bond now, that had grown so strong in such a short time.

"Look I know we could get in trouble but we have to try, do you want this to be the last time you see Amanda? You can't leave it how you left it tonight," Namjoon said as they snuck out of the room.

Having been placed at the end of the hall away from the boys and out of the way of the group they started back along the corridor.

"Well we can't sit outside Kookie's and Tae's room all night," Amanda said standing up. Becky just looked down solemnly.

"I'm not saying we give up but sitting on are asses all night isn't going to get us anywhere."

As if by fate Namjoon and Jimin rounded the corner.

Amanda couldn't stop her face from lighting up when she saw him. He looked back at her and smiled.

Her smile could light up a room and he wondered in that moment how he could ever reject her. Becky smiled cheekily at Namjoon as he hurried his stride to hug her.

"We wanted one more special night with you guys before..." his voice trailed off as he looked at Becky, the idea of not seeing them everyday was heart breaking.

"We'll see you later," Namjoon winked at Jimin as he led Becky away.

"Where are we going?" Becky asked as they approached the lift.

"It's a surprise," he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist and leant in for a kiss.

Jimin looked at Amanda sheepishly. All he wanted was to hold her, kiss her and tell her how much he cared. Is it possible that he liked her, maybe even loved her so soon?

Before he had time to ponder this anymore, Amanda grabbed his hand and led him towards the lift.

"I know it's awkward and I know there isn't going to be anything come from this but I wanted one more night with you," she said quietly.

He smiled and lifted her head up gently with his finger.

"One night will never be enough," he said softly, getting lost in her eyes.

Namjoon kissed Becky's hand as they walked the street towards the park.

"I thought it would be nice if we could just sit and look at the stars, I just want to be with you," he said as neared the park bench. She cuddled into his arm.
