Becky spat her drink out all over the sand. She couldn't help it.
Did he just ask what she thought?
She looked straight over to Amanda who looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights.
"You wrote a story about us?" Hobi asked as they all gathered closer around her.
Amanda looked at Becky subtly, pleading for help but as Becky went to stand up to help her, Namjoon grabbed her hand and pull her back down.
Temporarily lost in the moment, she gazed into his eyes.
"Sorry, I just had to kiss you," he said as he pulled his lips away from hers slowly.
She nodded slowly her eyes still closed before she realised what had just happened.
"Amanda," she whispered and went to stand up again.
"Wait, did she write a story? Can we see it?" Namjoon asked, putting on his best puppy dog eyes.
Becky's eyes darted. She never could lie directly.
"No, there is no story, so therefore you cannot read a story that does not exist obviously because it does not exist..." she trailed off as she saw the smirk on his lips.
He tapped her nose before shouting the guys. "It's real."
Amanda glared at Becky who looked down momentarily at the floor.
She was surrounded by the boys all asking where the story was and she could feel the pressure mounting. "
"Okay, there is a story but it's terrible and you can't read it because it's back in England," she said confidently.
Their smiles slowly faded as they sat back down.
"Really?" Zabrina asked smirking at Amanda who glared in an angry way towards her. How dare she embarrass her like this.
"Funny because it's appears that it's on Wattpad," she said pulling out her phone that was preloaded.
"But....it's in English," she muttered confused.
Zabrina smiled again. "Already translated, way ahead of you."
Amanda's mouth opened in shock before tears filled her eyes.
"Please, don't" she whispered. She couldn't face this.
Zabrina just smirked and handed the phone to the boys.
Silence fell on the group for the next 2 minutes as Amanda fought to stop the tears from falling down her face.
Jimin was reading the story that followed them arriving on vacation at her holiday cottage in England. But perhaps the most interesting part of the story, she described her love for Jimin.
He looked back at her and it broke his heart to see her so sad. He grabbed the phone as loud groans came from the group.
"Hey, we're reading," Tae shouted. Jimin glared back silencing him instantly.
"Look Amanda is upset," Jimin said lowly, borderline anger in his voice.
The boys turned around to look at her, her eyes had not left the beach for over 3 minutes now.
They suddenly felt guilty and they all turned to her and pulled her into a group hug. By this point the tears were falling without warning.
"We're sorry Amanda, we didn't mean to upset you," Yoongi said stroking her hair.
"It was very good, written beautiful," Jin said tucking her hair behind her ears. She couldn't help but smile in their presence.
"It's okay, it's just embarrassing," she whispered burying her head into the group.
"I'm sorry Amanda, I didn't think you would react so badly," Zabrina whispered, true sincerity in her voice. Amanda glared at her before her features softened.
"It's okay, just forget it," she said as they all took their seats again. It wasn't long before they had to pack up and return to the hotel.
"I'm gonna miss you guys," Zabrina said as she filled everyone's glasses for the final time.
"It's not goodbye," Jungkook said smiling.
"We will see everyone again, we will make sure," Jungkook said.
"We better because this holiday has been too good for us to never do it again," Elissia nodded in agreement.
"Well Namjoon and Becky will marry soon so Honeymoon holiday," Hobi laughed as Becky snuggled into Namjoon's chest, their hands intertwined.
"We are supposed to go back to the hotel now ready for the early start tomorrow," Tae said quietly.
The mood had become subdued as they approached the bus.
"Is this really it?" Jin asked as they climbed aboard. There was an awkwardness that filled the bus as they drove back to the hotel.
Everyone could feel a sense that their time was short and was coming to an end. They gave each other hugs and went to their lifts in silence.
"It's going to be so weird not seeing them in person now," Luke said, throwing his coat off as they got into their rooms.
Becky and Amanda hadn't said much since they parted with the boys. They were remembering how they had met and how quickly everything had progressed.
As one by one the group slowly slunk off to bed, all that was left was Amanda and Becky.
"So, we're totally not staying here right?" Becky asked putting her coat on.
"Damn straight," Amanda agreed, grabbing the keys as they snuck quietly out of the room. Amanda breathed as they got into the lift.
She didn't want her time with Jimin to end yet, especially like this.
There connection was so obvious, but at this stage she just wanted to spend as much time with him as she could before he was gone forever.
