At a school pep-rally, which every student was required to go to, the basketball team was being celebrated for winning the last home game, and now they would be moving to the championship game. While Jason got everyone riled up, there was a small group of kids yawning. It was unknown whether it was because they didnt care or because they didnt care. It was a group of nerds. All of which were in Hellfire Club together. Dustin, the boy with curly hair hiding underneath his thinking cap hat. Dustin shook his head.

I cant believe Lucas is actually into this crap, Dustin eyed Mike.

Yeah, its whatever I guess, as long as he makes it to Hellfire tonight, Mike said dismissively, He shook his head, Come on, lets go, Mike said as he took a step down the bleachers.

Dustin and some other kids walked with them. They werent allowed to leave, but that didnt stop the eldest member of the group.

Come on, dont let Mr. Charters scare ya, whatever you do, Henderson, dont look back or make eye contact, Eddie said as he brushed his long, dark hair out his face with his hands.

The small group made a run through the double doors. Letting them shut right before a teacher can come close to yell at them. Eddie turned down a corner and laughed. He held a smirk and looked at Mike and Dustin.

Looks like you guys arent so innocent anymore. Anyone down to ditch? Eddie smiled and looked at two other kids who were also in hellfire.

Everyone began to shake their heads, Nah, my mom would kill me if she found out.

Yeah, Im out, too, I got a chemistry test, one boy trailed off, Wait, we are in the same chem class together? Arent you going to take it? You need it to graduate.

Ill be fine, sheep. Besides, thats lame, Eddie said as he slowly backed away, Well, Ill see you guys tonight, Hellfire, baby! Eddie was referring to the end of his campaign for their Dungeon and Dragons club.

Eddie turned around quickly and headed for another set of double doors at the end of the hall that led to outside. While the doors slammed shut, the rest of the club shook their heads at each other. Was Eddie actually gonna graduate this year if he was skipping the class that he needed the most to graduate?

Eddie walked down the street and headed towards the nearest movie shop, Family Video. It was a twenty-minute walk. He swung the doors open and revealed to himself a boy leaning against the counter. Eddie titled his head down, seeming not surprised at who the worker was.

Steve Harrington, Eddie said in a sort of deep, evil sounding voice.

Eddie, Steve said rather slowly.

The freakEddie added.

Munson.

Yup, its me, Eddie searched for something to look at. Mainly to avoid conversing with Steve Harrington. He had just graduated last year. He was on the basketball team and he was one of the popular kids at school. Eddie avoided talking to anyone that was considered popular. Mostly because everyone called him a freak. Eddie didnt personally have any beef with Steve though. Steve had always been nice.

Arent you supposed to be in school? Steve asked.

Eddie made a fart noise, Yeah, well, no, Eddie grabbed a thriller movie. He walked up to the counter and threw on top. He grabbed a bag of candy and threw up on top as well.

I see you chose another year of math was it? Steve asked teasingly.

Chem, actually, Eddie corrected.

Chemistry, right, Steve rang up the thriller and the candy.

Yeah, I just needed a break, ye know? Eddie pulled a small bag that held clumps of weed.

Steve smirked, Yeah, yeah, I'm sure you did need a break, Steve chuckled, You know, its on me Munson. Enjoy your movie and candy. Have it back by Wednesday.

Eddie smiled, Thanks, Harrington, Eddie took the movie and candy off the counter, What do you say, Harrington, Eddie raised the bag of pot, Need a break?
