This was unexpected; Kyle Wilson was bringing groceries into my house with Delia and me. It was something I hadn't planned and wished to avoid. Now he knows where I live. We unload the bags onto the kitchen floor and Delia sighs in relief as we finish.

"Thank you so much for helping us, Mr Wilson" Delia chirps, I open the fridge and begin putting away the cold items. Kyle instantly glances my way and then smiles at Delia. On the bright side, it felt good to be back home and safe, I was worried there for a minute.

"It was my pleasure and please, Call me Kyle"

"Thanks again, Kyle but we got it from here," I say imposing a fake smile, and Kyle chuckled nodding his head.

"I'm happy to help and you can call me anytime if you need help again... Where's your mother?" He scrunched his eyebrows looking around in confusion.

"She left for London today, She'll be gone for the week" I answered putting my purse on the counter,

His eyebrows raised "Oh right. She had her promotion and I'm guessing she left you in charge of the house. My parents granted me the same privilege when they left for their anniversary trip when I was seventeen."

"I'm sure you had a lot of parties" Delia grinned playfully and Kyle smirked and laughed

"I was quite a delinquent back then so yes" She giggled at his answer and I finished closing the fridge.

"I'm not having any parties, Delia so quit with the hinting" I nudged her shoulder playfully and realized I hadn't closed the front door yet, I sighed in slight annoyance and started heading toward the front door.

"Oh come on, Just think about" She whined following me

"I'll do it but I don't see the point" I shrugged carelessly. Delia gave me a look as if I were a complete square. I'm not entirely square; I don't mind attending a party for fun and to unwind, as long as it's not my own.

Abruptly Kyle joined us and we looked at him "I must go but it was good seeing you again, Mae"

I smiled awkwardly "Yes, Thank you, Kyle"

He smiles only at me and leaves the house closing the door behind him and I'm left with Delia as she smirks at me.

"What?" I shrugged

"I noticed he never stopped looking at you and he's hot for a man his age" Delia grinned

I rolled my eyes and scoffed at her returning to the kitchen "Come off it, Delia I have Jake and he's not my type"

She followed "I'm just saying, He couldn't stop staring at you."

I knitted my eyebrows being utterly oblivious, How long was he staring at me exactly? I didn't want to tell Delia the many times Kyle and I ran into each other or the peculiar vibes I got from him.

"Anyway, What should we eat?" We finished with the groceries and changed the subject.

Delia leans on the counter "Hmm, Pizza?" She suggested

That sounded heavenly "And wings?"

She grinned happily "Yeah, Let's emerge ourselves with that wap"

I giggled grabbing my purse so I could call and immediately my stomach dropped when I didn't see my phone anywhere
