Y/N's POV: I woke up from my alarm blaring in my face. I turn it off and get out of bed. I look at gus sleeping like a baby. I get dressed and brushed my teeth. I go to his and kiss him on the forehead.
"See you later baby" I say covering his arms with the blanket to keep him warm. I grab my coffee and head out to work. Gus always told me to be extra safe on the corner turn because it's sharp and people drive like maniacs in this part of town.
As I was turning this person didn't pay attention and was coming towards me. I tried to swerve but ended into a ditch and crashed into a tree. My face was bloody, glass covers a little bit of my arms. I was in so much pain. I heard sirens coming closer then I blacked out.
Gus's pov: I woke up with an empty bed, I'm guessing y/n was at work, it worried me that she went to work very early I really hope she's okay. I got a phone call from a random number. "Hello?" I say. "Hello, is this gus, y/n's boyfriend?" The man asked. "Yes sir who is this?" I asked.
"Y/n is in the hospital, she got into a car crash on the curve and fell into a ditch" the man says. "I'll be there as soon as I can" I say. I hang up and put some pants on. I put socks and shoes on and grab my keys.
I sped all the way to the hospital. "What room is y/n in?" I ask. "Room 314" the woman says. I rushed to the room and saw her laying there, she has machines hooked up to her. I stayed by her side until she was alright. "Y/n, I know you can or can't hear me, but if anything happens to you I'm letting you know I love you and I always will" I say.
"I'm really sorry I wasn't there for you baby girl" I say. Why am I so stupid? I should've drove her there!! Y/n opened her eyes and looked at me. "It's not your fault people are assholes" she said.
