I know I'm not that adorable
My lips aren't red as an apple
Yet you loved me with all your heart
Even though we are apart

You said I'm different
You watched and said I'm brilliant
You said you liked me a lot
From your eyes, I'm caught

I don't know if you loved me true
The thought of me liking you
With all your kindness
Left me at most times, breathless

You don't want me to be hurt
Thank you for protecting me along side your efforts
Thank for not letting me go tired
Now I know, you are the one I admired
