A pair of arms dragged Lucy towards the stage setup in the guild, where there was a band waiting for her. She keep struggling to escape her boyfriends arms as he dragged her so she would finally tell her family how she felt here with her family rejecting her relationship with the Sabertooth Master, who had already announced what and why Lucy was sing this song.
Once up on the stage, she sent him a pleading look; she didn't want to hurt her makeshift family by telling them she was miserable with their opinion and being given the silent treatment. Sting just gave her an encouraging look, silently supporting her through this knowing it would hurt her but he knew she'll be more hurt if they continue like this.
The two couldn't go on a date in/near Magnolia without a Fairy interrupting it and the only way they won't be interrupted is if they enlist the Thunder Legions help. A minute of standing up on the stage the guild was silent and she gave up on getting out of this and signalled for the band to start before readjusting the microphone and Sting getting ready to sing his part.

The guild was silent, thinking over everything and the way they acted towards one of their own. Some looked down in shame, some closed their eyes in disbelief and others started crying in regret. They were not happy that they made one of them feel this way.
