Hayley leaned against the headboard, reading Elijah's journal as Loki paced in front of her. "Are you okay?"
"Perfect." Loki answered before faltering. "This conversation with my mother could end with me never being allowed back on Asgard or welcomed back with open arms."
Hayley raised an eyebrow. "A talk with your mom could keep you from going home?"
Loki opened her mouth to answer Hayley, but stopped when she saw her mother forming in front of her. She straightened, brushing her hand over her stomach before gesturing for Hayley to stay quiet.
"Mother." Loki greeted once the illusion of Frigga was fully formed.
"Loki," Frigga smiles softly at her daughter. Her eye's flickered to the girl on the bed before looking at Loki. "Who is this?"
"This is Hayley Marshall," Hayley looked up from the journal when she heard her name, her eyes widening at the sight of Frigga. "She if my wolf friend."
"Hi?" Hayley managed to get out.
"Hayley!" Loki hissed.
"Dude! She's your mom!" Hayley exclaimed quietly. "I'm not ready for a meet the parents."
Frigga laughed, gaining their attention. "I am Frigga, Queen of Asgard, AllMother." She grinned at Hayley's flushed face.
"Nice to meet you?" Hayley smiled, sending Loki a panicked look, practically asking for help. Loki did nothing of the sort.
"You as well, but I assume this isn't about introducing me to one you claimed as yours?" She turned to Loki. Hayley looked between them at the wording, but assumed it was an alien way of saying friends.
"I'm afraid not, mother. I have met the three of the children of Esther." Frigga's eyes widened at Loki's words.
"Dare I ask which ones?"
Loki tilted her head. "The eldest remains asleep, Finn and Kol have both been killed, the youngest remains at peace. It has not changed since we last checked. Elijah is daggered, Niklaus and Rebekah are working to get him back."
"He is the one." Frigga said immediately. "Does he know of the prophecy?"
"He knows it exists, and that we are destined to have a child together, but not the wording." Loki told her before she stood straighter. "Did you know I was with a child when I was banished?"
Frigga nodded. "That is why you are on Midgard rather than the dungeons. The mortal witches got word to Heimdall that you should carry out your pregnancy on Midgard."
"Mother, it has officially started."
"Does Astrid know?" Frigga asked her.
"I haven't seen her since my banishment. Only through messages." Loki said honestly before answering the silent 'why?'. "I do not know how she will react. I fear she will be upset with me."
