Chapter One : Aftermath

Clem's Pov

As the Sun shines on my face I can already feel like it's gonna be a good day... I hope.  I've opened my eyes and see AJ was already gone. I stood myself up and said AJ in a soft voice.

No response.

I tried to get myself up and lift myself out of bed,
As I stands up I put on my hat I wore in the past 10 years still dirty and about to give up.

Me: One day I gotta get you clean up you smell like wet dog.

I've walked to the door an exit our room and headed to the courtyard. I see everyone was up guess I overslept for a while.

I looked around and see AJ and Louis was talking right by the The tables.

Louis waves at me as I lead out with a smile seeing he's taking care of AJ while I was asleep.

AJ turns around and ran toward my way quick and Swiss.

AJ: Clem!!

He gave me a big hug as I gave him the same energy that he gave me.

Me: Hey there goofball did you sleep well?

AJ: yeah I woke up and see you still asleep so I left the room so u can get enough rest.

Me: Thanks kiddo I needed the rest after yesterday.

AJ nodded as Violet walks up to us with a smile.

Violet: Glad your up.

Me: Well you know it I was pretty tired after yesterday work, Work my ass off.

Violet: Tell me about it it was a crazy.

Louis walked behind Violet.

Louis: Good afternoon sleepy head.

I smiled and chuckles for a bit.

Me: Good afternoon Louis.

Me: Alright what's the plan today.

AJ: Well we need food we're running low.

Violet: Me and Ruby are going fishing.

Louis: Me and Omar are going Hunting checking the traps see if we got something.

AJ: I wanna go with Louis and Omar can I go with them Clem?

AJ turns his head at me.

Me: Sure just be careful out there.

AJ: I will I've got Louis he be the bait.

Louis: Yea- wait what!?

We all laugh for a minute.

Me: Alright you three have fun.

Louis and AJ left the group and start heading out with Omar.
